Justice Reigns in our Stars, but the Nightmare is far from over

Chapter 1

Blue's POV

I don't mind being 'kidnapped' by Error anymore. I honestly think it's kinda of fun. We usually talk about random stuff, how life's been, what you've been up to, things like that. Sometime, we take a walk through Outertale. I can see why Error likes it; you get to see the stars all the time! It's amazing how many there are! You can go to the Surface to see stars, but Outertale gives you the BIG picture! The first time we went, Error had my soul tied up, just incase I tried to escape. I think he realized I enjoyed it, so he let me go.

We had just gotten back from a walk through Outertale. Back to the Anti Void, I mean. It's kind of blank, but you learn to love it. Anyway, we decided to knit together, like friends, and then I heard a blood-curdling scream.

Error's POV

I noticed that Blue had shifted his position. "wHaT's wRONg, BluE?" I said.

"Did you hear that?" he asked. I had heard something, but I wasn't sure if it was real or in my head, because I have a lot of head voices. I nodded my head toward Blue. We both got up and started moving in the direction of the sound.

Blue's POV

We were so focused on finding the source of the sound that we collided with someone. "Sorry, didn't—" I apologized, but then I remembered that no one else is supposed to be here.

I looked at the person we collided with. He was a skeleton that looked very similar to Error, but was wearing red glasses and had the hood of his jacket on. I know Error has glasses, he slapped them on my face once, but he never wears them. Said he doesn't need them anymore, but I think he still does. The skeleton had a very frightful look in his eyes as he looked at me. He looked like he knew me, but I had never seen this skeleton. He didn't look like he had seen Error yet. I leaned toward Error to ask if he knew who he was, but he had crashed himself. I sighed. Typical Error.

???'s POV

I was having the most crappy day possible. First, I spilled coffee on myself. Then, Cross found my secret stache of chocolate, so I have NO chocolate. And THEN, Blue kidnapped me, saying he missed me. Like I'd fall for that crap! I'm just his toy, not a friend. AND THEN, I literally ran into these two skeletons that just so happen to look like Blue and me. What is this world coming to? The only good thing that happened was me finally getting away from Blue. Why am I so unfortunate?

Blue's POV

I remembered Error telling me something about there being different versions of me.

*flashback in third person*

Blue and Error are somewhat snuggled together. Error looks at Blue. "yOu knOW," he says. "ThERe aRE moRE vErsIONs oF yoU."

Blue gives him a funny look. "Yeah," he says. "You already told me that."

"nOt liKe tHAt. THey aRE yoU, tHeY aRE cALled BLue, jUSt LikE yOU. ThEY JusT hAVe DIFferEnT iDEals."

"No one can have better ideals than THE MAGNIFICENT SANS!"

Error laughs a little. "YOu'rE rIGht."

*flashback ends and returns to Blue's POV*

He must be one of those. I wondered what his personality is like. I realized I had been staring at him for a while "Hi!" I exclaimed. "I'm Blue, or Blueberry! And this is my friend Error! What brings you her?"

???'s POV

I didn't know how to react. I looked at the other skeleton that 'Blue' called Error. He looked terrible, the word 'Error' covered his body. He kind of looked like me when I get too supersized, or angry, or in utter disbelief. WAIT...

Error's POV

I had finally rebooted. "WhAT hAPpeneD?" I asked Blue.

"We met your look-alike," Blue said.

"oH...rIghT," I said. Something wasn't right. I haven't heard my voices since the reboot, and they usually come back a short while after. What's taking them so long?

"So...uh...do you know who he is?" asked Blue, snapping me out of my thoughts.

"I tHInk sO?" I said. "I bElieve InK mEnTioneD tHis PlAce cAlLed 'DreAMswAp'. I tHinK hE eXPlaiNed iT liKe tHis pLAcE whEre tHE SAnsEs' rOlEs aRe sWiTCHed; sOMEThinG liKe NighTMarE AnD DreAm sWitcH, InK anD CrOSs sWitCh, anD yOU anD I sWitCh. tHe fUNny tHInG iS, we keep the same general attacks...I guess. WAs tHAt gOod?"

"So...he's you AND me at the same time?!"

"I guess you could put it that way."

"OOH," Blue turned to DS!Error. "So...what brings you to the Anti Void, anyway? I thought only Error could come here."

Blue's POV

And then it hit me. My other 'me' must have brought him here.

DS!Error's POV

I was only half listening to the two skeletons' conversation. Dreamswap? Ink? What? I was still piecing it all together when I remembered that I hadn't gotten that far away from Blue, and all this commotion must have reached him by now.

"So, what do I do?" asked the other Blue. I about jumped five feet in the air before I realized it was a different Blue.

I didn't want to answer, but the determination in the other Blue's eyes encouraged me. "You are one of the most annoying people I've ever met, in 'Dreamswap' as you call it, and you can make anyone do what you want with the right words. You live here, I think."

"Gosh, I must be terrible! So, why did the other me bring you here?"

I laughed. "Right now, I'm your favorite plaything, or entertainment."

AND THEN I HEARD HIM.

Blue's POV

I heard what sounded like me in the distance. DS!Error looked very frightened. "Error," I asked. "Can we help him? He looks like he needs it!?

Error groaned. "fInE," he said, but I could tell he was lying.

"Error..."

"yOu kNOw wHAT? i'M pERfECTly FINE WIth hARbOriNg 'mE' frOm 'yOU'. iT'S NoT lIke you're Are freAKinG sCARy in DreAMswAp oR ANYTHING..."

Out of the corner of my eye socket, I see movement. So did both of the Errors.

"We have to leave! NOW!" said DS!Error. He seemed even more frightened than before.

"doN't hAVe tO tELl Me tWIce!" said Error as he quickly made a portal. I couldn't tell where we were going, but we all jumped in.

???'s POV

Tsk, tsk. I almost had him. When will Error realize that he is nothing without me? Now, I have to chase him down again. I opened a portal. He never makes things easy. Well, who am I to judge? =)
