Error's POV

After Nightmare left, our little 'group' got really awkward really quick.

Not as awkward as Killer randomly bursting out, "Heh. I thought Blue was here."

I have never wanted to strangle anyone so much in my life, well besides Ink. He's on his own level of stupidity and annoying. Ink and Dream gave me that raised eyebrow look. It did not help that a few glitches generated around me. I knew I was in trouble.

"Oh really, Killer," Ink said, still looking at me. I was tempted to flip him off, but didn't.

"Yeah..." Killer said staring off into the distance.

"Anything else?" Dream asked. I was going to kill everyone here and then myself if he said anything else. I was not so fortunate.

Killer shut himself up and shook his head. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.

I noticed DS!Dream was deeply concentrating on something. I didn't have time to pester him about it because he generated a portal for both himself and DS!Ink to go through to some location.

After they left, there was no reason for anyone else to stay, but for some reason we did. It wasn't like we were going to fight each other tomorrow anyway.

Ink and Dream were still giving me the look. "oK," I said to them. "iF yOu aRe gOinG tO sAy sOmEThIng, sAy iT nOw."

"Imma leave yah super fresh broskis to yah own unfresh missteps tah sort out," Fresh said, and was gone in another rainbow poof.

Ink gave me the devil eye. "Where is Blue?" he threatened.

"cUrrENTLy, i dOn'T kNOw," I said. I decided to give them only as much information as they ask for. I'm not getting them dragged into this hellhole of a situation, or this might not even qualify as a hellhole anymore. And I prefer 'hellhole' over other things.

Dream raised his brow. "'Currently'?" he asked.

"yeS. wOuLdN'T dO yOu mUcH gOoD iF i tOld yOu wHErE hE waS aN hOuR aGo, gIvE oR tAke," I retorted.

I no longer felt comfortable with the situation. I was itching to leave. I planned on leaving, but I knew Ink and Dream wouldn't let me. I motioned for Dust, Horror, and Killer to go back to the house. Luckily, they actually left.

"nOW iF yOu'D plEASE eXcUSe mE, i'Ve gOt thInGs tO dO, plAcES tO gO. sO i'lL bE—"

"You know better, Error," Ink said. "You're not leaving until you answer our questions."

"iT wAs wOrTh a sHoT," I said, shrugging. I shot them a crazed smile.

They obviously took it the wrong way. I meant it as 'I'm not telling you anything,' not 'Come at me shorty.' I guess it isn't far from the truth, they are pretty freaking short, but I'm not here to judge their height right now.

Ink and Dream generated their weapons. Ink took ahold of his paint brush, which he nicknamed Broomie, and was in his ready position, his eyes a dark green on the right and a deep red on the left. He was not kidding around. Dream summoned his turquoise staff, a yellow star seeming to float off each end. It also doubled as a bow that shot blue positivity arrows.

I sighed. These two always resort to violence, even though they are supposed to be the good guys. I generated my strings.

"fiGuReD," I said. I gave them a disappointed expression. "sO pReDIcTabLe."

Cross's POV

There was nothing I could hide behind to eavesdrop. It was somewhat unsettling, but I guess I'm sort of used to it. Neither of the two seemed to have noticed me yet, so I just stood where I was. I didn't dare move an inch, for fear of discovery.

A lot of weird things happened. This Blue seemed to be talking this Error into a lot of things, which normal people don't do, I think. I haven't been around many normal people lately.

A slow thought crept across my mind. You can't leave. Of course I knew only out codes can access and leave the Anti Void, but I never thought of it that much. I was stuck.

I noticed that DS!Blue has said something similar to DS!Error, so I'm pretty sure this Blue has a really big influence on people's minds. It would make sense with what happened with Blue —this multiverse's, I should add— a bit ago.

That still didn't distract from the fact that I literally couldn't leave. Chara was freaking out about it. 'Oh my god we're going to lose our sanity in here!' was one such worry. I wasn't too worried about it; Error hangs out here a lot. He'll be back here at some point, right?

Right?

Error's POV

I was not leaving anytime soon. Ink and Dream wouldn't let me leave. You know, I had a really good feeling that today I wasn't going to fight anyone. Man, have times changed.

Anyway, Ink and Dream were ready for a fight. I wasn't about to turn them down one, so I also got in my ready position. After a second, they were running at me. Ink dove at me with Broomie. I only barely got out of the way enough to dodge, but Dream's staff found its mark. I staggered backward a bit. I quickly recovered and shot my strings at Dream's staff. As expected, Dream transitioned the staff into a bow and started shooting at the arrows. My strings caught some of the arrows and powered through the attack to grab Dream's bow and get it out of his reach. I didn't see Ink coming up behind me and hit me with Broomie. I was more surprised than anything else. I wondered why Ink wasn't using any ink or paint or whatever it is. Another group of strings sent Ink's weapon dangling in the air. I had disarmed both of them, but not for long.

I escaped through my newly generated portal before dropping their weapons. I had little time to think about where to go. I ended up in Xtale, for some reason. I don't even know why I was there, but I saw a whole bunch of people just staring. At what, I didn't know. It became really freaky as I started to register the faces. I could see Blue, Nightmare, and two different looking skeletons who I took to be DS!Cross and DS!Nightmare.

I noticed someone else. Two someones, actually. DS!Dream and DS!Ink were here too. Guess that means DS!Dream was tracking his brother's aura. That would make sense. I noticed some other things.

There was no DS!Error and our frozen friends were staring at nothing.

What happened?

Cross's POV

Chara wasn't doing so well. He was worried sick about losing his sanity. I didn't know how to comfort him, but I stood still during the whole thing.

DS!Blue and DS!Error moved to a different part of the Anti Void. I took that as a chance to stretch my legs. I had been standing for 30 minutes (or falling ;)). Surprisingly, they hadn't noticed me yet. I don't know if that was a good or bad thing.

I realized I wasn't doing so good, either. I wasn't reacting to anything. Believe me, Chara's constant poking and prodding is something to notice. Was the Anti Void affecting us in some way? I couldn't tell.

Hopefully Error will show up soon. Because I've already tried to generate a portal. It didn't work. Chara even tried and that didn't work either. We're stuck.

Wait, didn't I know that already?
