The Monday morning rush was upon me, it seemed as if I completed one task after another.
Taehyung's meeting was in 30 mins and I've yet to see him.
I gathered his materials needed for the meeting and headed into the board room.
Sitting next to Jimin while I wait we make small talk.
"How was the rest of your weekend?"
I lean over.
"Uhh it was pretty good, I ended up going on a blind date." He rolls his eyes.
"Ooh tell me all about it"
"Ivy... Really!! this girl just wanted a free meal. I was so frustrated after dinner, I dropped her off at the bus stop"
"Jimin!" I say slapping his arm.
"Good morning Jimin, Ivy" Mr. Min walks in and sits down.
"Hello sir" I smile at him.
"I need to hear more of that" poking at Jimin.
"I'll be back with your coffee" I say passing by Mr. Min.
Just then Taehyung appears with a tall gentleman with very broad shoulders.
"Good morning Miss Ryan, could you please get our guest here some tea?"
"Please call me Seokjin" he held out his hand.
I smiled and excuse myself.
While getting the coffees and tea Seokjin approaches me.
"Can I help you with those Miss Ryan?"
"Oh that would be lovely thank you sir"
A few minutes pass by when Taehyung enters the coffee room to find myself and Seokjin laughing.
"Is everything ok in here?"
"Oh yes Taehyung, Ivy and I were just talking about an old college professor we had. We just realized we both went to the same college. Well me 4 yrs her senior"
"Oh I see, what a coincidence. We really should get back" Taehyung says not even looking at me.
I head out of the room first leaving Seokjin and Taeyhung behind.
"Say my friend" Seokjin pulls on Taehyung's arm
"She's very attractive, do you know if she's seeing someone?"
Taehyung swallows and takes a minute to answer.
"Ya know, I really don't know it's possible"
"Well, I just may have to ask her out for coffee to see"
Seokjin pats him on his shoulders and makes his way to the board room.
The whole meeting I could tell Taehyung was off. Something was really bothering him.
Once the meeting came to an end everyone started to clear out.
Seokjin gathered his things. "Miss. Ryan it was a pleasure" he bows to me smiling.
Clearing his throat "Miss Ryan, I need your assistance" Taehyung interrupts.
Smiling I excuse myself from Seokjin.
"Yes sir?"
"I need these papers sent to our Japan location immediately"
"Yes sir, Seokjin please excuse me"
I make my way out and head to my desk.
About a half hour later I make my way into Taehyung's office. Shutting the door behind me he keeps his eyes on his laptop.
"Yes Miss Ryan, What can I help you with?"
"I have your papers finished for you"
I set them down in front of him.
