The afternoon was a complete blur, I had no idea what just happened. I kept to myself and my mind on my job.
Taehyung pretty much stayed in his office the entire day.
"Hey cutie, why the down face?" Jimin sneaks up behind me in the coffee room.
"Oh I'm not down" I give him a squeeze on his cheek.
"So I just seen the memo that Tae is going to be out for a few days, and I don't want you to be all lonely....so why don't we go out dancing tonight"
"You don't have to baby sit me Jimin"
"I know I don't, you don't want to go out? Dancing.. With me? The dancing king?"
"How about I let you know?"
"(Huffing) Okkkkk...Sounds good"

Later that evening I'm laying on the couch flipping through the channels when Val stops over.
"Why aren't you dressed?" She asks rummaging through my cupboards looking for something to eat.
"For what?"
"Jungkook said that Jimin said that you were coming dancing with us tonight" she munches on some crackers.
"Uh he asked but I didn't confirm anything" I say looking for my phone to call him.
Val goes to sit down and continue eating.
"All I know is Kookie said to meet here and.."
"Kookie?"
"Yeah, Jungkook" she giggles
"Ahhhh, so since when are you and Kookie on nickname terms?"
Val shoves a whole mouth full of crackers in her mouth. "Huh?"
Just then my doorbell rings.
"You're not off the hook yet" I tell her as I get the door.
"Why aren't you dressed?" Jimin asks as they both let themselves inside.
"That's funny, you're the second person to say that, I don't recall saying I was going anywhere tonight"
"You didn't?" Jimin winks plopping down on my chair.
After a few minutes of coaxing, I'm in my room getting ready.
Not before I try calling Taehyung. I get his voicemail. I start to write out a text but delete it.
No Ivy, just go have fun...I think.
"Are you almost ready?, The guys are getting impatient" Val says knocking on my bathroom door.
"Yes I'm done, I told you I wasn't prepared.."
"Woah... girl.. Did your boss screw you over? Because sweetie that right THERE is a fuck him dress!"
Laughing at Val's comment "My what?"
"You know, your "fuck him" dress, he pissed you off... So fuck him"
"Valorie for as long as we've been friends you still amaze me"
The girls both laugh

As expected once at the club Val and Jungkook took off at the dance floor together.
"I think I'm going to need a few drinks before I can get out there" I tell Jimin.
We head to a table and order some cocktails.
After a few rounds and some small talk we make our way out to the crowded floor.
The music is loud and I admit I'm feeling better being out.
"Thanks for asking to come out Jimin"
