Vampire Queen POV:
I stared at my hands, tears streaming down my cheeks and a teardrop or two dropping on my lap now and again.
But it cant be true. Ivery was the strongest warrior of all. She had all the characteristics that made up the ultimate warrior.
How could she die? She's my older sister, she can't be dead.

Dex's POV: (before he went to see the Vampire Queen)
"My king, the Midnight pack reported that one of their folks found a body on the outskirts of their land near Massachusetts.
They say she is terribly injured and will most probably die before the break of dawn but -"
"Charlie, you know I see you as a great Beta, but get to the point already." I said sternly to my Beta, Charlie.
He furrowed his brows at me but just shook his head and continued. He barged into the pack house while I was planning my next meeting with the Supreme Wizard Alexander. He was complaining about rogues attacking his people.
"- anyway, as I was saying. The woman doesn't want to classify her identity and refuses to talk to anyone but you, but I think I know who she is."
Charlie said with a bow at the end.
"Sir, I believe it would be in your best interest if you go speak to her. There's something about her aura that tells me she is much more powerful than you think. Her mind is pure and her heart is clean. You must go see her." Charlie rambled on.
"Wait? Did you asses her without her consent?" I stopped packing my papers away when I realised that Charlie must have assessed her when she was distracted or something.
Charlie has wizard blood deep in his roots, its recessive genes are fading but it's still there somewhere. Meaning Charlie can do something's that a werewolf can't do, example, he can read minds if he can break through the force that forbids a human to have access to another humans mind and soul, but with his wizard blood he can break through it if he wanted to, but he daren't try that sh!t with me.
"Charlie! You can't just do that. If someone finds out in anyway... I would be forced by the pack to kick you out, you'd become a rogue and if I refuse someone is allowed by wolf law to challenge me for my position as alpha. Do you understand how tremendous the consequences of this is if someone finds out?" I yelled at my Beta.
"I know alpha...but...she's Gamora's sister Ivery."
I froze at Charlie's words.
"Where is she?" I asked immediately.
"At the packs best and only infirmary, Dr. Siburdia."
I followed Charlie to Dr. Siburdia.
When we got there she was waiting outside the room, probably for my arrival.
"Dr. Siburdia." I greet with a nod of my head.
"Alpha." She also greets.
"Where is the patient?" I asked impatiently.
She just pointed her thumb to the door behind her.
"But I must warn you.
She is a handful."
