Like it or not, we live in a world we're monsters lurk in the shadows. Demons, Vampires, Werewolves, Seelies, Warlocks, and most of all Shadowhunters live among us.
Danielle "Dani" Fray is the older sister of Clary. Dani wasn't treated the same way as clary was. She is more rebellious and a party girl but the girl always felt something missing in her life, until she finds out her mother's deepest secret she kept from them their whole life.
Jocelyn Fray hid the existence of The Shadow World. The mother tried to explain to them many times but she couldn't bare seeing her girls live in that type of life style.
Ever since Danielle was sixteen, she had dreams about a boy with electric blue eyes and jet back hair. She felt like he was her guardian angel, sometime she could feel his presence. Danielle wondered why she would dream about him and why she could feel him even if she couldn't see him.
Dani might be a party girl but she is a fighter. Her step father; Luke, is a cop in the NYPD. Dani always loved what Luke did; solve crimes, do cool things with weapons, and fighting.
Once upon a time, Dani wanted to be a cop just like Luke so he taught her everything he knew about fighting. It came in handy when she would walk in the city at night, coming home from school years ago.
As the two Fray girls went to celebrate Clary's eighteenth birthday with Clary's best friend Simon. Danielle felt something off that night.
But she felt safe when she could feel the presence of her guardian. But not knowing she was going to meet him soon.
Danielle is not just a teen girl, she's very much more than that...
