WHEN ALEC AND Danielle got back to the center of the institute, she saw clary leaned against the wall near the front entrance.
"That's not possible!" Clary said in frustration.
"What's not possible?" Danielle asked.
"Do you know anything about the mortal cup? Do you know where you're mom would put it?" Jace asked the light brunette girl.
"No, I don't remember, one time I saw her rummaging through some stuff and then it's a blank space," Danielle explained.
"Both of their memories have been wiped," Jace said to Alec.
"How?" Danielle, "is it possible?"
"Absolutely, if you know a warlock," Jace said.
"A warlock?" Clary said in disbelief.
"A warlock clary! Half human and half demon, sometimes their fingers spark," Jace said making Danielle's eyes widened as she remembered her dream.
"What about Dot, my moms assistant, her hands had this purple glow when she opened the wall and my mom pushed me through and I ended up at the police station," Clary explained.
"That was a portal," The blonde said, "Dot must have been a warlock. Only Warlocks can create them."
"Wait, So you're saying if we find the real Dot, she could help us find the cup and get my mom back?" Clary asked.
Jace shrugged, "unless she's working for valentine."
Clary smirked, "even better, she'll lead us right to him."
The red haired girl passed her sister and Jace, "Where's Simon?"
Danielle looked at Alec who had his arms crossed over his chest, "that girl is going to be the death of me."
"Me too," Alec said with a small smile as she chuckled.

"Is this the less revealing thing you have?" Clary asked as she stood in Izzy's mirror.
"What?" Izzy chuckled, "all the naughty bits are covered, a little too much in my opinion."
Danielle was laid across Izzy's bed and looked at Izzy before rolling her eyes.
