"None of us are really free. We are just monkeys, whose heads are filled with ideas, and we live our lives the same."

It took me a few minutes to snap back awake, but I did manage to sit up when I heard that. After slapping myself awake, I shakily stood up and balanced myself before I fell over. "Kira...God damnit." I muttered under my breath. I looked around for the door and spotted it, a small wooden slab that was about four feer in height and about two feet wide. How anyone could comfertably fit through that door, I don't know. I managed to crouch down and shimmy through the doorway, standing up as I got through it and hitting my head on the ceiling. Man, being tall has it's downsides.

As I looked around, all I saw was snow and a few more shacks. And more snow. I listened to see if I could hear anything else and, coincedentally, there was her voice again. She never kept her mouth shut, did she? "...Make sure Gale doesn't hear about this." Well, that was already failed. "If need be, tie him up and keep him knocked out." Geez, it's like she still had some sibling hate for that time me and Lionel caught her and Alcuard f-...Er, anyways. I needed some answers and she was gonna give them to me. I closed my eyes and focused, stamping my foot in the ground til I could feel earth underneath the snow.

I started walking to the shack right next to the one I had woken up in, having sensed Kira in there. I approached the door and knocked three times, tryjng to at least be polite. "Come in." I heard Kira say. This doorway was a lot taller, so all I had to do was open it and stoop down a little to wal in.

"Hello, Kira." I said, grinning. There were two soldiers with her, both wearing heavy coats and scarves. "What'cha doing with my soldiers?"

Kira looked too stunned for words, which pleased me. A lot. "G-Gale?! You're awake?! How?" That made me suspicious.

"...You say that like you know what happened."

Kira regained her composure. "Er, no. Lionel said he'd wait for you to wake up so he could explaine it to you, so I'm gonna assume he told the right story and explained it all."

"Bullshit."

"What do you mean?"

"You were surprised I was awake. You know very well what I mean."

Kira shook her head. "No, we were all just thinking you wouldn't wake up any time soon."

I leaned against the wall. "Uh-huh. Hey Kira, why are you talking to two commanders?"

Kira's face went pale. I never knew that was possible when you were a vampire. "I...Er...Uhm...Welll..."

"Were you maybe thinking of sending the soldiers without my approval?"

"I...Uh..."

"You do know that I am responsible for them, right?"

Kira took a deep breath before speaking again. "...You, hold Gale down. And you, go tell Lionel that the gas didn't work." Both soldiers nodded. Before anyone could do anything else, I raised my hand and pointed a finger at the doorway, raising pillars of rock in front of it.

As both soldiers stared at the doorway and Kira looked at me with an evil glare in her eyes, I sighed. Stomping my foot on the ground and holding my hand in front of me, a giant warhammer, with small spikes of rock coming off of it, broke through the floor and floated in front of me. Grasping it with both hands, I stared at Kira.

"I'm not leaving here without answers. You get to decide between giving them to me willingly or me beating the ever living hell out of you for them."
