Viper:

I didn't know what in the hell I was doing. All I knew was that I needed to escape reality for a minute. And she was my ticket out.
I felt her soft gaze on me during the whole ride. I felt all sorts of energy from her; fear, frustration, confusion. But that gaze remained soft and thoughtful. And it bugged the shit out of me. I didn't need her pity. It was obvious she thought I was sick in the head. Shit, I sure as hell was. But there's no fixing what's going on in this brain. I chose to stay in this life and I'll die by it. She better not be the type to go and try to fix me.
"Hurry up, now. It's getting dark." I had parked her car just outside the little canyon. She was struggling to keep up with me. I was worried it was her head. She would be too scared of me to speak up and say she didn't feel well. Plus, she probably thinks I'm a dick (on top of being a murderer) for believing that I only wanna keep an eye on her to save my own ass.
"You do realize it's going to be pitch black soon. How do you expect to go swimming?"
I smiled at myself. She was becoming more daring by the second. "Just because the suns down doesn't mean you forget how to swim, darling."
We trenched through the rock a bit before coming out from a corner. The stars and the sunset gleamed just enough to guide our way to this tall clear blue waterhole.
"Don't call me—."
I turned my head just slightly to spot her stuck in her boots. If this were a cartoon, her eyes would've gotten been as big as soccer balls and the waterfall would be reflecting in them.
She stumbled on her own feet to follow me closer to the waters edge, where a clear pool hugged the mound of desert ground we stood upon.
"Where did you find this place?"
I kicked my boots off and ran my hand through my hair. "Do you ever stop asking questions?" I really just didn't want to tell her how I ventured out here growing up when my dad was drunk off his ass talking to the damn voices in his head and shooting his pistol at the t.v.
I heard a little gasp when I unzipped my pants.
"What, princess?" I gave a cocky grin. "You don't expect me to swim with pants on?"
She crossed her arms firmly against her chest.
I shrugged my bottoms off and adjusted my black boxers, eyeing her playfully. Partly because I needed to distract her as I tucked my gun under my clothes. I didn't want to scare her anymore than I probably have. If she ran off and tried to rat on the club, we'd have to kill her too...I really didn't want to to do that.
"Fuck off," she mumbled. Her eyes shot up and she pressed her lips together, showing that she was nervous to talk to me like that.
I grinned at myself.
"I'm not swimming."
I climbed a few rocks in a swift motion and shouted down to her. But not before checking her out genuinely this time. She looked hot all stubborn and annoyed. "I'm not taking you home until you get in the water." Suddenly I realized the keys were still with my clothes and if she grabs them she can easily snatch my gun. Why was I being so fucking neglectful? So distracted?
She rolled her eyes and leaned against a boulder. Maybe she wasn't going to go for it. I couldn't let her recognize my weakness or she'll realize my mistake.
When I reached half way up the waterfall, I peaked out on a little ledge.
"Hey, watch it!" She was now inching closer to the rocks, hands in her long hair frustratedly.
"Careful. You're starting to sound like you care."
She let out a breathy hiss. "Fine, fall and get a concussion."
I didn't reply. Instead I jumped. I heard half of a squeal on my way down before splashing into the cool fresh water. When I reached the surface and poked my head through to spot the moon, I heard a splash from beside me. Realizing before the splash crashed into me and my face, she had jumped in after me.
She reached oxygen and gasped loudly. I floated beside her, laughing.
Smack. Water hit me back in my face. I flipped my head back up to face her, a serious expression settled across her mouth and her eyes.
"Did you just splash me?" I asked, dumbfounded.
"I don't see anyone else here."
Was she flirting? Twenty minutes ago she was begging for her life... And I thought my head wasn't on right. She should be fleeing right now.
I dipped under without inhaling much air. I swam down a bit till I caught her ankles and grabbed them. She kicked a bit and I heard her half serious screams above the water.
I got a good grasp of her leg and stopped for moment in my head to focus on how soft she felt. My hand trailed up a bit and when it unintentionally reached her thigh, I yanked away and hit the top again to catch air.
When I looked at her, she almost seemed as if she had been smiling. Her eyes were glowing and her wet hair was stringing over her arms. Her bra strap was falling off her shoulder as she waded.
I swam a bit closer, almost chest to chest. Her mouth was open and she was caught on a breath. I took that moment to reach for that pesky strap and slowly drive it back up to her shoulder. Goosebumps formed on her skin, I felt them on my finger tips.
"I don't know why," she began to say real quietly, "but you don't scare me."
I kept my expression blank. "It seemed otherwise twenty minutes ago."
"I mean, yes...but not right now."
I noticed my hand was still touching her arm. "Really?" I inched a little closer till I felt her legs kick to keep her afloat. I placed my hand to her neck, gliding it up to her jaw and running my thumb across it.
"I should be scared," she admitted, her voice now a whisper.
Yes, she should be. I took a strand of her hair and tucked it behind her ear. I felt her bite down hard. I traced my finger across her jaw again and then down the side of her neck. When it hit her collarbone, I replied, "Maybe so. But I'm glad you're not."
I felt her heart pounding, almost making her skin and bones vibrate under the touch of my hand. She took her bottom lip into her teeth and didn't blink once.
"I don't know why," I began to mimic her, but followed with my own thoughts, "but you drive me fucking crazy."
"You don't know me."
"That's the problem."
She was speechless.
I swam us over to the edge of the waterfall beside the rocks, putting my hands against it on either side of her. I inched above her a little when my feet touched the sandy bottom. I looked down at her with heavy eyes and her hand reached out onto my chest. I looked at her placement on my pectorals this time and touched her fingers, feeling her shake against me. As she did so, I let my eyes travel back to hers, just to examine her face.
"What are you doing?" She choked out.
I pulled away barely, unsure of what had come over me. But she grabbed onto my arms to prevent me from backing up.
"I didn't say to stop."
I tilted my head. "I'm confused."
"I'm just wondering...why you haven't kissed me yet." She looked startled by her own response.
My stomach was in knots, but I gave my winning seductive smile and leaned back in, lifting up her chin with a finger and the other hand up against the rock. I dipped my face more and looked from her full lashes to her lips, still smiling at her.
"Fuck," she whined, inching so that her breasts were against my chest.
Our skin to skin contact made my body ignite like fire. "Watch your mouth," I growled with a smirk, reaching down and barely touching her lips with mine. It sent heat all through my body, causing my mouth to fully take her.
I felt all her energy flowing into the kiss. Her lips were soft to the touch. They were slow but eager. I followed her mouth with a gradual determination. Letting our lips guide each other for their next move. Every few seconds, her tongue would graze my bottom lip and I'd pull away just slightly, where my mouth was hovering the touch of hers.
I knew I was being a tease, I just wanted to drag this moment out forever. This wasn't just a distraction anymore. This was something else. Every part of my body was magnetized by her.
Now gripping my biceps, a soft moan escaped her mouth. That moan was so god damn hot because it was real. You could tell she didn't mean to let that sound jump out of her.
I let my kiss crash back into her, gliding the tip of my tongue into her mouth just to touch hers, asking for entrance. And she gave it to me. The kiss became passionate and heated. It became wild. I felt like we were two storms just fighting for power.

Before I realized it, I pulled her legs around me and sat her at my hips

Before I realized it, I pulled her legs around me and sat her at my hips. She ran her long fingers through my black hair and tugged at it impatiently.
If this girl didn't relax, I wouldn't be able to hold back. And trust me, I was.
I slid one of my hands roughly down her spine, her body jolting forward in response. I bit at her lip and looked at her as she slightly fell off the edge, breathing hard against my mouth.
Sliding my tongue across her just bitten lip, she began to grind against me unconsciously.
"Fuck," I groaned into our kiss. "You make me fucking crazy."
Something happened. She pulled away. She released her body from around me and backed up against the rocks. "I'm sorry," she murmured uneasily. "I can't do this. I have to go home."
I stared at her, shocked.
"Please...take me to my car."
I backed up and nodded, watching her swim to the edge and hop out right away. I eventually made my way back to land and threw my clothes back on. I tucked my pistol behind me and ripped my phone out to turn the flashlight on. She fell alongside me but didn't say a word. She didn't speak to me even the whole drive back to my bike.
I stepped out of her car to walk around and open her door, bur she slid over to the driver seat before I even grabbed the handle.
Well, that's not awkward. I wondered what the hell I did. This is why I shouldn't have let my guard down. This is why being a gentleman was fucking useless.
But then again, maybe something was wrong and it wasn't my fault. Maybe my ego just became deflated because she denied me. Maybe it was that drug pushing boyfriend of hers. Whatever it was, it sucked. I felt out of place. I felt thrown back into my earlier troubling thoughts.
She pulled her phone out and looked at the time. "I'm gonna head home," she said.
Yeah, I thought we established that. I walked over and was now standing back at the driver side, beside my motorcycle.
"Thank you."
I raised my eyebrows and tapped my boot.
"For letting me go."
When I nodded in response, she put the Buick in gear and shredded off. Leaving me back with my thoughts. Which was a dangerous thing to do.
