The game had not begun but we were still waiting. It was already half past nine which meant two hours we had been sitting here twiddling our hands. Little cousin was crying in the corner asking when he would see the black screen change colors. Ma and Pa had been asleep for thirty minutes more or less with Ma's head on Pa's left shoulder while his on her head. Big brother, on the other hand, looked really green. His legs kept on moving up and down rapidly. I thought he would throw up soon but he only closed his eyes when the nausea hit the back of his throat. He had came here since eight in the morning. Almost fourteen hours now. He would not speak and barely ate anything. I gave him a bottle of water ten minutes ago and it was gone. The game had not started yet so he could not been dehydrated. Yet I could see perspiration all over his face. The air conditioner worked just fine. The game had not started yet when my sister came and said there was nothing for dinner.
