you made me happy,
you made me sad,

you did both.

you made my life bright,
you turned it gray,

you did both.

you made sunshine,
you clapped for rain,

you did both.

you built me,
you broke me,

you did both.

you were the one who promised to stay,
you were the one who left first,

you did both.

i was torn,
i was rebuilt,

i did both.
