Science project and Voltron

"Hey I think it wor-AHHHH!"
Peter dodged as Ned and his science project, a real life BB-8, attacked him
"OH MY GOSH WHO ADDED THE LIGHTER?!" Ned screamed as he took cover behind a lab table

Ned and Peter were assigned as lab partners
They decided to make a BB-8
In Peters private lab in the tower
And as you can read
It's not going so well
And to make things worse
They just got the first sign that the world was ending

"Peter, I wanted to warn you that MJ is coming to your lab" FRIDAY informed Peter
"Why would you need to warn me?" Peter laughed at the AI as he powered down BB-8
"Well she just got back from-" but she was cut off when MJ slammed open the door, Peter turned around and saw her crying
Before he had time to say anything she flung herself into his arms and broke down crying

Peter wrapped her in a big hug as he pet her hair, trying to calm her down
Soon the sobs turned into just tears and hiccups and Peter decided to ask her in a real gentle voice, "Hey, what happened?"
She looked up at him with her red puffy eyes, "I just finished watching season 8 of Voltron." She managed to get out
Peter picked her up and brought her over to the couch in the lab where he would fall asleep some times, it had a lot of blankets
He listened to her as she told him about the season between sobs
(I won't spoil anything)
She fell asleep but Peter didn't dare move until an hour later when Ned was being attacked by BB-8 as soon as he finally turned it back on
Peter slid some sound proofing earmuffs over MJ's head as he walks over, knowing this was going to be a loud project

After 3 broken computers
16 blaster marks on the walls
45 bruises each
And 1 sleeping girlfriend
They had the project finished in one day, minus the whole month before
Peter even had time to make a little side project

When MJ woke up, she immediately saw 5 small lions flying above her, the Voltron Lions. As she sat up, she watched them form Voltron with the look of a kid on Christmas on her face
"I thought you might like them" Peter said as he leaned against the wall
"How did you?-"
"It wasn't all me, I had help, and I mean a lot of help from Shuri." He explained as he sat by her, wrapping his arms around her
"If anyone at school gets word of my break down, I'm making sure that everyone knows Spider-Man wears a thong." She stated as she snuggled into his side
"Fine." He laughed at her
They sat like that for 5 minutes till MJ sat up agian
"You want to bindge watch Voltron?" She asked him
"Hell ya"

That was Peters first time watching Voltron
And he cried way harder then MJ
