Gun Shot

"Peter wake up!"

Peter woke with a start after water was splashed on his face. he looked around and saw FLash holding an empty cup, "I swear MJ told me she'd pay 50 bucks if I did this since all of her attempts didn't work!" Flash said in his defense

He looked over at his girlfriend and found her snickering

"Peter, everyone attending MidTown Tech has to go today since they rebuilt it after the whole Thanos attack, we're getting a tour of it!" Ned said, bouncing up and down, excited especially after he heard the computer lab got a big upgrade from Stark Industries

"Ok, Ok," Peter said as he got out from under the covers. "Just let me change out of the soaked clothes first!" The three were snickering to themselves as they exited his room

Peter sighed and took off his shirt, looking in the mirror reliving the time when the abs first appeared, the moment his life changed forever. He chuckled a little and put on his clothes, dried his face, and left his room, but as he did he heard a voice again

"Peter wake up!"

"Peter we need you, you have to wake up!"

He leaned against the hallway wall holding his head, the voice was getting louder. He sat there until it stopped.

It nagged him how he couldn't identify who or what it was. He shook his head and continued down the hallway praying to himself

"Please, please don't let this be a dream," he said as he looked over at Ned trying to get the pieces of egg in Flashes mouth as MJ filmed it, "I swear, let this all be real"

He joined into their fun and was able to land 5 pieces of scrambled egg into Flash's mouth before Pepper came in

"Come on guys, I'm driving you! Happy had to drive Tony to a meeting, so out the door!" She pushed them into the elevator so they could go down to her car in the garage at level -1

The car ride was... chaotic, but not Peter's family chaotic... like a level below it

Peter could have sworn it was almost like a Game Of Thornes thing (I don't watch it this is just how I imagine it would be like modern)

"Okay, all of you dipshits!" MJ screamed as she was pulling Flash out of the front seat, "I CALLED SHOTGUN!"

"That doesn't count!" Flash yelled as he had a death grip on the chair

"WE WERE IN THE GARAGE! IT COUNTS!" Ned and Peter bet that MJ was more frightening than the Hulk right then

"Calling shotgun doesn't matTER! I GOT HERE FIRST!" Flash was now being pulled halfway out of the car as Ned and Peter watched and Pepper sat in the front seat just waiting for them to stop

"OKAY!" Pepper snapped, "WE HAVE TO BE THERE AT A CERTAIN TIME OR DO YOU WANT TO STAY HERE AND CLEAN THE TOWER?!" That shut the two up

They quietly rode in the car, Ned was in the passenger seat, Pepper was calmed down, and Peter sat between Flash and MJ who were giving each other the death glare over him, it was uncomfortable.

Finally, they got to school. And for the first time, Peter was so thankful to be here. He jumped over MJ as soon as she opened the door for sweet, sweet freedom and almost tackled Ned.

The rest of the time was uneventful. Coach talked after they showed yet ANOTHER one of the Captian America videos, and then split into groups to tour the school.

Amazingly, the whole Decathlon team (minus the ones who left) Were a group. They first went to the Science Lab, oggling over the new equipment. Then the cafeteria, where there was a coffee cart in the middle, they may have taken a few pastries while the guy was making the drinks (Abraham and Ned left some money paying for it) And finally, the decathlon room. The school decided to make a designated room for them to practice in instead of any available rooms like last year, the room had bean bags, a table with the bells for practices, and a counter that had a mini fridge.

It was A M A Z I N G!

They didn't bother to see the rest of the rooms, they just sat in there and chatted, Abraham messed with the bell, MJ threw a bean bag chair at Flash, causing a war between the two

it was perfect, fun, the highlight of the day...

so how did it go so wrong?

An alarm went off, they had only heard it in drills, but they could tell that it was real. Someone just brought a gun onto campus

Peter rushed to close the door and told everyone to head into the cabinet big enough for all of them, then turned off the lights and joined them.

Peter checked that he had his web shooters on, thankfully they were there, and stood quietly at the front waiting

Next, the fire alarm went, nobody moved a muscle.

Why would someone attack while people were touring the newly built school?! he would never know why

An hour passed, Peter almost thought it safe to call Tony,

but then he heard the door get kicked open

nobody breathed

they heard as the person shuffled threw different cabinets

Peter could hear the gun hit against the person's thigh as they moved around the room

Then, they heard them starting to leave

Peter almost, almost breathed out the breath he was holding when he heard a sneeze

He could hear the 'sorry's' under Abraham's breath as the footsteps got closer until they were in front of the cabinet, Peter could hear his friends heartbeats quicken as the handle was turned, and the door opened

it was a man, he didn't recognize from any of Tony's files, just a local thug. Peter was grabbed and thrown out of the closed space and onto the ground

Peter was about to shoot his webs, not afraid of revealing his identity, only worried about his friend's lives

But, he let out a pained cry as the male stomped on his wrists, he could hear them shatter

He heard MJ from the cabinet, trying to get to him

but he looked up into the males' eyes

he heald his gun towards his friends

if Peter did anything, his friends would die, so he sat there, looking into the man's eyes, terrified

He smirked, "Who knew that not a big bad villain would take down Spider-man, but just an ATM robber!" He laughed

and in a split second

the gun moved

and the trigger was pulled

but not at his friends, they were fine

but Peter felt something pierce through his stomach, tear through his organs, muscles, and skin, and he could hear it scratch his spinal cord

then MJ's scream along with the others, but her's was the most painful and agonizing one

Peter's arms that were holding him up gave out and he fell to the floor, hitting it head on the wood.

he heard repulsers of a super suit, someone hit the floor with a thud and a clank

someone craddled his head and he felt the tears fall on his cheeks

then, he lost consciousness

Okay so this is the second time Peter has been shot

Like wow

Okay so I'm soooo sorry because the next chapter is the finale! And it's not going to be happy at all I tell you

This chapter has actually been done since last time I uploaded cause I figured out the best way to write this and didn't publish it cause I didn't want you guys to wait forever again for the final chapter cause I'm trying not to make it so long

But I can only write the next chapter after Endgame and it's gonna take me a century to recover soooo...
