As the boys brought their luggage into the house Kate sat on the couch and thought about what had just happened. "It's not like I have a strict agenda or anything", she thought. "But I certainly have no intention of staying here long. I have to visit the things I came here to visit, and I don't even know these men."

However, that last part wasn't exactly true. Kate did know who these boys were. For goodness sake, she had even taken her little sister to their concert back in Pennsylvania. And even though she acted like it was such a chore to take her, Kate actually kind of enjoyed their performance. There was no way that she would tell them that though. No way.

And on that last thought, they all walked through the door at the same time and sat down around her. "So where are you from?", asked Liam. "And why are you in Paris?", questioned Louis. "How old are you?", said Niall. "Come on now lads, give the girl some space! Did you come here alone?", asked Harry with an innocent look on his face. Kate smiled, which seemed to ease the tension in the room. "I'm from America. I just got out of college a few months back and I decided to take some time off and just travel the world. Paris is my first stop and I did come here alone, but I'm meeting up with a friend in England. Oh, and I'm 19 years old."

"We're all actually from England. Well, everyone except Niall that is.", said Liam politely. "Do you have any siblings?", questioned Zayn. That was the first time he had spoken to her all day. "Um yeah I have an older brother and a little sister. Lena, that's my little sister, is actually a really big fan of you guys haha." "Aw how cute! How old is she?" This time it was Louis who asked her the question. "She'll be 9 in 4 days.", said Kate. When Kate left home she knew she would miss her parents and her sister and brother, but she never thought she would miss them this much. All of the boys seemed to sense that something had changed Kate's mood, so they decided to change the subject. "How does your head feel? Again, I'm really sorry I hit you with the door." Kate smiled at Niall and assured him that she was fine and that her head felt almost good as new! "I say we go check out the beach!", exclaimed Harry. A chorus of yeses rang throughout the room and everyone stood up and started walking towards the door. Kate looked up and saw a hand outstretched towards her. "Would you like to come with us Kate?" She looked up at a grinning Niall, nodded her head, and took his hand.
