Accidentally in Love

Something Great

As Kate walked outside, she realized that today was truly the perfect beach day. The sun was shining down on the sand and there was a light breeze blowing to keep them comfortably cool.

The two walked towards the rest of the boys who had started a game of beach soccer. It was Kate's natural instinct to throw her hair up in a ponytail and jump right in to the game. "You play?", asked Liam. "Eh, just a little.", shrugged Kate. Little did these boys know, Kate had grown up with a ball at her feet. She even got a scholarship to play in college. "This should be interesting", she thought as a smirk crept onto her face.

<6 goals later>

Kate high-fived Zayn and Liam as she scored her 4th goal and their 6th as a team all together. They all laughed at the sight of Niall, Louis, and Harry breathing heavily with their hands on their knees. "Have you lads had enough yet?", said Liam with a hint of teasing in his voice. "I thought you said you only played a little?", asked a bewildered looking Harry. "Well maybe my "a little" is a lot longer than yours", replied Kate with a smile.

"I should probably be getting back to my hotel soon.", said Kate. "But we haven't even gone in the water yet!" "You should stay for dinner!" " Why do you have to leave so soon?", protested the boys. Kate replied with a sad smile in her face. "I have a lot of things I have to do while I'm in Paris. And I'm sure you guys have things to do in your own lives that don't include me. It's probably time we set foot back into reality, don't ya think?" There was a disappointed murmur of agreements. "Would you like a ride home? Harry and I could take you.", asked Niall. Kate smiled a genuine smile. "Yeah, that'd be great."

Kate was a dreamer. She knew that about herself. But there comes a point in time when all dreamers must go back into the real world and face the realists of this planet. And now it was Kate's turn to come out of the clouds and see what she actually came to Paris to see.
