Introduction

Anastasia Johnson is the owner of AJ Publishing, a publishing company that was passed down to her by her grandfather, Nicholas Johnson.

Her father never wanted to follow in his father’s footsteps so he temporarily took over after Nicholas died. When Ana grew older and was able to take over the company, her father couldn’t step out of the way quicker.

At the age of 28, she met Jason Martinez, New York’s most eligible bachelor. He was in New York at the time for some business, and they met at a conference for New York’s most successful companies, to which Jason accompanied his brother, Mason, who lived in New York at the time.

From then on it was love at first site for Jason, but not for Ana. He loved how stubborn and driven she was, how she managed to walk into a room and immediately intimidate other women with just her presence.

Jason is the leader of a gang named The Pythons, a gang known for their ruthless behaviour. As their relationship progressed, Jason thought it was a good idea not to tell Ana about the gang.

He promised himself that once Ana was his, he would leave the gang, but they got married, and he still hasn’t found his way out of the gang.

Selina Whitfield is Ana’s long-time friend. They have been friends since childhood and their families are very close. Selina got married to Julian Moore, who is now a husband to one of Ana’s current friends, Amanda.

She has a four year old son named Caleb who lives with her, but mostly visits her mother, Margaret Whitfield.

Five years into her marriage with Julian, he cheated on her with Amanda and they got a restraining order against her when she started following them.

She went to prison for two years when she didn’t respect the restraining order and kidnapped Amanda. She stayed away from them ever since.

Michael Croft is the owner of Croft Enterprises, he was also a member of The Pythons.

He and Jason were very close until Michael started telling Jason that he doesn’t deserve Anastasia because she is a remarkable woman. Michael left the gang later on and he is now New York’s most eligible bachelor, taking Jason down to the second most eligible bachelor.

Anastasia does not know Michael, neither does she know what Jason does for a living. She just knows that he’s a business man. Jason kidnaps pure women and rapes them, after that he gets rid of them.

Selina also becomes Jason’s victim, but she is saved because she has a son, meaning she is not a virgin.

Jason's evil reign comes to an end when Michael decides to marry the lovely Anastasia, who is pregnant with his son.
