It was a normal day. I fed the horses, ate some cereal, woke up the fam until a loud screech came from the sky. I looked up and around to find what was making the noise and saw that the neighbors were yelling at me to get into my house. They looked panicked so I ran inside. Mom and dad hugged me tightly and said they were sorry. "Sorry for what?" I asked. "Sorry, we didn't tell you this sooner. We think the world is ending. At least Michigan. We need to gather up the horses, get them into the trailer and leave. Now."
I ran outside first and saw that the neighbors had packed up their stuff like they knew this would happen years ago. Buck cantered over to me and neighed. Maybe this is why he was acting weird a few days ago. yesterday he wouldn't eat his foot and kept breaking the stall door down. I grabbed his saddle and everything else while mom grabbed the grain. All my other siblings got the hint and grabbed a lead rope and their saddles. Mom and dad were the first one to put their horse in and hook up the other trailer to the other truck so that we have two trucks and two trailers for all of our horses. The loud screeching sound grew louder and Gypsy (Mom and dads horse) started to freak out and rear up. Mom grabbed her phone out of her pocket and searched any emails or warnings about where to go. Since we live close to the border of Ohio and the asteroid is going towards the UP I suggested we go into Ohio and down towards Kentucky or whatever state is after Ohio.
We got all the horses into the trailer and Buck starts to move a lot. I take him out and sit on him. It relaxes him so I ask mom if she can grab my phone, charger, a blanket, pillow, and other personal things. Mom brings my phone out first and then the rest. Once I get comfy on Buck I get a call from 911 public service. "Hello?" I say. "Hello, Miss. I just wanted to let you know we are shutting down all the roads so if you plan on going anywhere you must go by feet." The police said. "WHAT!?!?!" I scream. It startles Buck. He starts to walk towards the house. He lifts up his foot so I can get down and tell mom the news. "I just got a call from the 911 public service," I said. "Well, what did they say?" "All The roads are shut down! We have to saddle up the horses and bring everything important."...........
