Rosie looked so cute with the little ribbon that was tied around her hair which was getting decently long now. River had the same ribbon that held her hair in a ponytail as well.
Hayze had decided to take River, Rosie and Blue for a walk.
When Blue had first met Rosie, he was a little hesitant to come near her but now all he did was drag his dog bed upstairs and sleep beside the foot of her crib at night. It was the sweetest thing.
He was super protective of her, just as Hayze was.
Rosie peaked out curiously from the wrap that strapped her to her mother and looked at the yellow flowers lining the path.
"Do you see the yellow flowers baby?" River asked as she fixed the ribbon around her thick dark hair.
Rosie squealed and squirmed around excitedly when she noticed Blue sniffing the yellow flowers.
Hayze helped loosen the wrap and he tugged her out before lowering her near the flowers.
Rosie eagerly reached out for the flower and felt the petals, smiling happily as she grasped one and broke it from the stem.
A little monarch butterfly landed on a nearby flower and Rosie screamed and kicked her legs excitedly.
Hayze chuckled before lowering her down into the grass and supporting her weight so she wouldn't fall. She couldn't stand on her own yet, not even crawl. She more so dragged herself along the floor to follow them around the bedroom.
"Is that a butterfly Rosie?" He asked as he pointed at the monarch butterfly.
Rosie clapped her hands in excitement and squealed as the butterfly came and landed right in front of her.
"B-buh!" Rosie exclaimed as she reached for the butterfly and both Hayze and River gasped. It wasn't really a word, but they could see she was trying.
Hayze kissed Rosie's head and lifted her back off the ground so they could walk further down the path.
Eventually, Rosie began getting fussy and she started leaning over and grabbing for River so Hayze shushed her and led the three of them down to a little white gazebo with a bench on the top of the trails hill.
Rosie began to cry and reach for River, so River tiptoed and grabbed her, cradling her in her arms.
They sat down on the bench and Hayze threw an arm over River's shoulder and kissed her temple as she relaxed back into the seat, taking in the pretty view.
Rosie whined loudly and tugged at the v-cut neck of River's sun dress. Hayze watched as River slipped down the thin strap of her dress and she freed one of her plump, full breasts. He shifted as he felt himself grow hard in his sweat shorts.
River shifted Rosie in her arms and Hayze's eyes never strayed from her breast as it bounced with her movement.
"I can feel your stare mister," she said as she glared playfully at him. "These are for Rosie, not you."
Hayze brought his gaze away from her chest and looked up at her in her doe, honey eyes before he laughed sheepishly. "Sorry."
She hummed and leaned into his side as Rosie began suckling from her, a content smile on her face. "It's such a beautiful day today. I'm glad you decided to take us on a walk. You usually sleep in on Sundays."
"Yeah. It is really pretty today," he agreed as he leaned his head over to rest on Rivers.
"Aren't you tired from working so much this month?"
"A little. But i'd rather spend the day with my two favorite girls than sleep all day." He laughed as Blue barked from where he was laying at their feet. "And you too Blue."
"Aw, you're so sweet and cheesy."
"Is cheese sweet though?" He asked with squinted eyes.
She giggled and tilted her head up to place a kiss on his jaw. "I'm sure there is sweet cheese out there. I'll have to look that up."
Hayze looked down and placed a kiss on her lips before looking down at Rosie whose eyes were starting to close as she continued to nurse.
"I think baby Rosie's starting to get a little sleepy. We should probably start walking back to the car."
River pouted but nodded anyway.
"I think... once Rosie gets about eight months, we'll go on a much needed vacation and we'll show her some sea water. What do you think about that?"
River looked up at him with wide eyes and then nodded excitedly, a beautiful smile - that made Hayze's heart jump everytime - breaking out onto her face. "Oh Hayze, that would be so amazing. But she won't remember the trip when she gets older."
"Thats fine, we'll just go again when she's older to refresh her memory. I'm starting to miss the ocean anyway."
