MAYNE'S NOTE:

This is the second to the last chapter and will be the first time Taehyung will have a solo part! Also this is gonna be the longest chapter in this book so yeah.....

TAEHYUNG didn't know what came into his mind to leave. He should be with his friends and Lisa...

Lisa.

He's supposed to be there to make sure she's fine or if he can do something to help her. But no. He is in his car right now, driving off to Seokjin's Apartment Building at night. He arrives at 10 in the evening and there should be just a few people.

It's crazy for him to do this but, he's actually gonna do the game himself without any plan at all.

He doesn't even know what he'll do if he does the game successfully. So literally, he has no plan at all, not even a single bit. But he's now determined. There were many times when his friends tried to stop him and so he eventually forgot about doing it, but this time nothing's gonna stop him. Not the security guards, not the people who live in the building, not his friends nor Lisa.

But if in case anything bad happens, he texted Namjoon his whereabouts.

He enters the elevator with no one in it finally and he proceeds into doing the game instructions. As he's in the middle of the game, by the second time he's on the second floor, he feels the elevator shake a little and heard a woman's voice laughed and the lights flickered a few times. But that didn't stop him to go to the 10th floor, then the 5th.

As he arrived on the 5th floor, at the other end of the hall he sees a woman in black. She was far, but it definitely creeped the heck out of him. Just then, the woman dashed towards him. Panic sinks in as he presses the close button multiple times. The woman is getting nearer.

And nearer...

And nearer.

The elevator doors have successfully closed, the woman screamed at this. Taehyung tried to even out his breath but it was impossible when he realizes that the elevator is going to the 10th floor even if he didn't press anything yet.

But that just means that there is no going back.

The elevator door opens and the darkness immediately greeted Taehyung. He suddenly felt a rush of nervousness but that didn't make him coward down. He steps forward and exited the elevator. He felt the elevator door close behind him and so he continued, not knowing where to go. He just took a couple of turns, not really seeing where he was going. It was dark though it is enough for him to see a little bit.

He continued walking into like a maze and ended up in a dead-end. At the very end is a blood-red door. Curiosity led him to go walk towards the door and opened it without any difficulties. He walks inside the room. The lights were flickering and the room is a complete mess. But he figured out what room he just walked in to.

It's like an office. There are a lot of papers scattered, cabinets, and also a fireplace. Or most accurately, the woman's lair.

Taehyung looks through the papers on the table in the middle of the room. He immediately got what is written on the papers.

"What the? A diary? This woman has a diary?" He mumbles to himself as he continues to scan more of the papers on the table.

It wasn't enough for Taehyung and so he tried to dig more up by the shelves, struggling with the amount of light he only has but still tries harder. Then he finally found a folder. The folder is slightly different from the other folders on the shelf.
