"There," Hunter said sweetly, laying a dark blue coat over Gameknight's shoulders. "Is that better?"
Gameknight nodded. "Th-thank you, H-Hunter..." he said, hugging her.
"...and I like sweet foods, but I also like savory and salty and sour..." Monet looked up from chatting and saw Hunter and Gameknight sitting together. She smiled.
Damien sighed. "Oh, thank God that's over," he groaned. "Dude, Gameknight, your little sis' never shuts up. How the heck do you live with her?"
Gameknight laughed quietly. "I-I d-d-don't know... I j-just do..."
"You're amazing, then," said Damien. "She's really..."
"What am I, Damien? Huh?" Monet snapped.
"...talkative."
Monet rolled her eyes, and then looked at Hunter. "Okay, you. How big was it?"
Hunter hit her head against the wall. "Oh, my God, Monet. Why the heck are you so-"
"What am I?!"
Meanwhile, Endia was in the corner of the room, laughing her head off. "Monet, can ya come with me for a sec?" she said.
Monet walked over to Endia and said, "yeah?"
Their conversation was in whispers, so the rest of the group didn't hear.
Then, there was a knock at the door. Damien went over and answered it.
"Um, guys?" he said.
"Yeah?"
"Can someone explain why there's a monkey in a Superman costume trying to get in?"
Gameknight went into a fit of hysterical laughing. Hunter smiled and said, "it's Gameknight's dad, Monkeypants. Let him in."
Damien opened the door and Monkeypants ran in.
"SON!" he yelled when he saw Gameknight. "YOU'RE ALIVE!"
Gameknight smiled as his father tackled him in a hug. Monkeypants pulled back to look at his son, but then he frowned.
"How'd you get blood all over your face?" he asked. "I didn't think you could bleed in this world."
"Herobrine did it," said Hunter.
Monkeypants rolled his eyes. "I hate him. He has to go and screw everything up all the time."
Gameknight nodded. He looked down at the ground, upset. Hunter put her hand on Monkeypants' shoulder. "Can I talk to you for a second?" she asked.
He nodded.
Hunter took Monkeypants into the corner and told him about everything that Gameknight had gone through. Gameknight watched his father closely. It seemed, with every word, that his eyes grew wider and his mouth opened more.
After Hunter had told him everything, he went back over to Gameknight and hugged him.
"I... don't know what to say," he said. "I'm so sorry, son. I had no idea."
"A-am I in tr-trouble?" Gameknight asked.
"No, of course not," said Monkeypants. "Why on Earth would you be in trouble, Gameknight? This wasn't your fault."
"B-but I k-kissed Hunter," he said. "Y-you t-t-told me th-that 13 w-was too y-young to be d-dating."
"Hunter is different," Monkeypants said. "She practically saved you. Besides, that probably helped you recover, didn't it?"
Gameknight nodded.
"Then it's fine; I don't really care. I'm more concerned about what Herobrine did to you." He bit his lip. "Did it hurt?"
"Y-yeah..."
"I'm so sorry. It never should have happened. No thirteen-year-old should have to experience something like that."
Everyone else in the cave sounded their agreement.
Monkeypants looked at Endia. "I just want to let you know, Endia, that we restored the NPC's memories of Gameknight. Ignotus and Za-rek are on our side."
"What 'bout da girls?"
"They're helping us as well; we've got Herobrine's entire monster army on our side, except for the creatures of the Nether. It's good." He sighed. "I asked Ignotus where you might be, and he said to look in here. I didn't expect Gameknight to be here, though. How'd you find him?"
"Right aftah HB screwed 'im, he threw 'im out. I found 'im in da middle o' da snow. I tried to get 'im back ta the village, but he couldn't walk. I left 'im by a tree and then I found Damien, and we took 'im to our base."
Monkeypants smiled. "Thank you for rescuing him. But why would Herobrine throw him out? Doesn't he-" He gagged "-love him?"
Endia shrugged. "Beats me, yo. He don't care, I guess."
"What makes you think I don't care?"
Everyone in the cave froze. Gameknight grabbed Hunter's hand, squeezing it fearfully. "N-no... n-not h-him...!"
Hunter looked across the cave and yelled out in surprise.
Herobrine was standing in the middle of the cave, staring lustfully at Gameknight.
