I was sitting alone in the "house" me and Levi had been living in. He was off with his friends, probably causing trouble as usual. We lived in the underground after all, it wasn't unusual.
That's when I heard the door creek open and heard Levi's voice say
"Pack your things, we're leaving now."
I quickly got up and looked at him confused "What do you mean we're leaving...we have no other place to go if we leave!"
He looked back at me a smiled, a smile I haven't seen since i was young. and he said
"Today's the day we finally see the world outside. We're going to become humanities strongest soldiers."
"B-but...Levi...soldiers have to go outside the walls..I don't think i can do that."
"Tch of course you can. Don't be stupid...I won't let you get hurt, now get your stuff and let's go"
I watched as he walked outside and slammed the door behind him. There wasn't much for me to pack...but i did anyways. Before I left our home I found an old picture of our mom, I know Levi doesn't like to look at it but...I couldn't help but take it.
I stared at our house one more time. I was glad we were leaving, I hated living underground in the cities garbage. But I didn't like the sound of being a soldier either.
~Time skip~4 months~
I had been here for 4 months with my brother Levi. I was gradually getting better, and Levi had taught me how to use the maneuver gear ahead of time. There wasn't many kids my age in the trainees so I was pretty lonely, but that's when I met Petra..
I met her in the dining hall a few days ago, Levi had left me and I didn't know where to go so I just sat down wherever I could.
I knew I could trust her with anything, I could tell Levi liked her..
"Hey Victoria!!!" I whipped around and to my surprise, it was Hanji.
I was still pretty shy around new people so I didn't quite know what to do "Oh uh..h-hi Hanji.."
She swung her arm around my shoulder "You don't have to be nervous!!! We're all friends here, also Levi is looking for you...he wants to discuss some things with you before you graduate" Her tone got very serious
"B-but I just got here a few months ago!" I was starting to get scared
she just patted my back and said "At the rate you're going you'll be outta here by the time you're 13!"
She left me standing at the training grounds alone..what could Levi possibly want to talk about...
