The End of the World?

After a few hours of silence, (Y/n) and Sasuke finally reached their destination. Seeing the tree, she smiled and ran to it, beginning to climb. 

"A tree? You came all the way out here for a tree?"

Picking some of the fruit, she put it in her bag before dropping back down to the ground with a big smile. Taking one of them out, she handed it to him.

"A yuzu? What's so important about this?" Taking it, he looked it over. "There's plenty of food back at the village.

Shaking her head, she took his hand and began back to the village. Knowing they were being watched, she stuck to paths that had more coverage. It was taking longer than the path they took there and she could tell it was bugging the young ninja.

Stopping, Sasuke tightened his grip on her hand, making her stop as well. "Hey... (Y/n). What's going on? You've been acting strange."

'I can't tell him we're being followed... how do I let him know?' Looking down, she tried to think of something. 

"I'm so tired of this!" Coming out of the hiding spot was a female ninja holding two fans that had metal on the edges. Pointing one at the two, she scowled. "I will get you to talk one way or another, and then you'll be coming with us to fulfill your destiny!"

Looking between the two, Sasuke stood in front of (Y/n). "What do you want with her?"

"Oh? A boy? Hm... You might want to get out of here if you know what's good for you. That girl is cursed. She may seem sweet and innocent, but she is a ticking time bomb. Ready to go off at any moment. She has to be taken down. If we wait any longer, the danger will be upon us." Opening her fan, she smirked. "One word and she's dead."

Running back to the village, Sasuke looked at the girl in his arms. "So this is why you don't talk?! Because if you do they'll kill you?!" Seeing her nodded, he looked ahead and took to the trees. 'I don't understand how she'd be a bomb. How is she dangerous?!'

"You're not getting away!" Knocking them out of the tree, the female ninja grabbed Sasuke and pinned him to the ground under her weight. Holding the bladed end of her fan to his throat, she locked eyes with (Y/n). "So... what will it be. Talk and let me kill you? Or waste an innocent life?"

"Don't listen to her! Run!"

"Shut up!"

'I... I don't want Sasuke to die... but I can't talk... I promise! Mom and dad gave up everything so that I could live a normal life! But I... I...' Tears ran down her face as she dropped to her knees. 'I know what I have to do...' Taking a deep breath, she stood and walked over to them. She took out her knife, and in one swift movement, stabbed the female ninja in the shoulder and didn't stop until the blade hit the muscle.

Screaming, she fell to the ground and tried to pull the knife out. "You little brat!"

"Touch Sasuke again and. You're. Dead." Black energy came from her mouth as she said that and surrounded the female ninja.

Starting to panic, she tried to swing at the energy with her fan. "No! Stay away! Stop this!"

"If I have to, I will kill every one of you. You hunted me since I was a baby and made my parents suffer. Goodbye. I hope the afterlife treats you well."

The last thing she heard was her screams before passing out.

Standing off in the distance, an older male ninja sighed. "She's brought upon the end of the world."
