For the next two weeks, (Y/n) was busy gathering ingredients, helping her family out, and working on a project of her own. Looking down at her work, she smiled. 'Almost done... I just need the right fruit for the job.' Grabbing a book, she flipped through until she found what she needed. 'That's it! Yuzu. The citrus flavor will be perfect. But I don't think we have any of those growing around here. I'll find some though. I'll make him the perfect dangos.'

"Sweetheart. Everything okay back here?" Her father asked, coming into the kitchen area. "What are you making?"

Holding up the book, she pointed at what she wanted to make.

"Hm... ponzu? I don't think we have any yuzu. But I'm sure we can find some."

"Are you sure you want to go by yourself?"

Nodding to her mother, she fixed her bag on her back and smiled. Waving, she ran off and out of the village.

"I don't think she should go alone... considering those people are still after her."

"She'll be fine dear. Plus, I don't think she'll be alone. She's caught a ninja in training's attention."

Running through the forest area, (Y/n) tried to keep hidden as much as she could. Hiding behind a tree, she caught her breath. 'As long as I take breaks and stay quiet, I shouldn't attract their attention.' Hearing rustling from behind her, (Y/n) took out a knife and turned around, ready to attack whatever was hiding there.

Coming out, Sasuke put his hands up in surrender. "Calm down. It's only me."

Relaxing a bit, she lowered the knife but kept alert.

"What's got you so paranoid?" After a few minutes of silence, he sighed. "Right... you don't talk." Seeing her walk away, he quickly followed behind. "You shouldn't be out here alone. Your parents should have come with you. Or at least a ninja with you."

Holding her knife tight in her hand, (Y/n) stopped and closed her eyes. She listened to all of the sounds in the area, focusing on certain ones. Eyes shooting open, she took off running.

"Hey! Get back here!"

'He's following me... he's going to hurt. He might even get killed! I should have just run away from him when I had the chance!'

Grabbing her arm, Sasuke pulled her over to him. "What the hell is going on? You just ran away from me. Tell me what's wrong!"

Shaking her head, she covered her eyes with her arms and turned away from him. 'I can't tell him. If I did... they would surely find me. Just calm down and focus on getting the fruit.'

A bit away from them, a small group of people was watching from the shadows. "It seems she has a little duck following her around. I wonder what made her come out in the open."

"We'll find out soon. But remember. We can not attack her until she speaks."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. Why can't we just grab her and bring her back? Wouldn't that be easier?"

"Not when someone else is around. I do not feel like having any innocent blood spilled."
