The night we
first met,
the moon splitted
into two,
and hanged on the
deep blue sky
like two ancient wounds. The night we
first met,
the stars fell
from heaven's stairs
and cascaded their ways
unto the lands,
as they glittered and sparkled,
like a swarm of fireflies
roaming the mainland. The night we first met,
the world went mad
but I missed all the funnot because I was
asleep,but because despite
my eyes being wide openmy gaze fell upon you
and just youinstead of everything else
in the world.
