the day had started out normal for luna and draco, avoiding each other like they always did but today was different for draco. after years of bullying the small blonde and ignoring her, he was going to try and make a move. everything was going great for his plan until he realized one fatal flaw, he's never been nice to luna. now she would think he's being forced to, he had to change her mind. the tall boy stood up from his spot in the great hall and made his way to the lake, setting up a small 'date'. "this should go perfectly.." he thought to himself. the plan was simple, he would get luna's shoes from pansy and give them back before asking her to follow him. his mind was stuck on her as the hours passed by before he got into action, seeing pansy snatch away luna's shoes. anger and sadness now clouded his mind, he didn't understand why he cared so much for the smaller girl but he did. without thinking, he leaned forward and grabbed luna's shoes back for her. luna stood there silently but when draco handed her back her shoes, she felt her heart explode while her tiny hands gripped onto them. "thank you, draco." her voice was like music to his ears as he still held his hand out to her, smiling. "will you please follow me?"
