sadness. (part 2.)

[draco had handed luna her shoes back, but kept his hand out to her. "will you follow me please?"]
luna looked at his hand and then to the much taller boy before placing her soft hand into his big one. their hands fit together so perfectly, as if they were made for each other. it took a few seconds for draco to start moving outside, due to how terrified he was. hippogriffs were the only thing worse then failure in his eyes but he wanted to do this for luna, after all she did care about him.  as the two made their way to where a picnic laid, thats when the plan went into action. beautiful decorations covered the small blanket while two hippogriffs laid peacefully, one holding a note in its mouth. luna was clearly confused and draco could tell just by looking at her, so he leaned forward once there and grabbed the note. he took a deep breath before handing the note to luna, watching her open it happily. "luna, i know we haven't always gotten along but you still care about me. thank you for that. i couldn't imagine hogwarts without you by my side. you truly are like art and you make me so nervous. i think you know what im getting at. so..will you go on a date with me?" the smaller blonde froze completely while she tried to form the word yes, but was unable to do so. after a moment of thinking and planning carefully, luna flung herself into his arms with happiness. it seemed like hours passed before she spoke. "yes, draco. i will go on a date with you."
