At the same table in the corner, we'll find Rodrick, Elle, and Jason sitting together.
"Jason, why'd you lie to everyone about the phone being tracked at Tondo last night?" Elle asks, perhaps further clarifying my intentions.
"Jane might think we're onto her, we need her to keep making mistakes." He continues, "And now that we have a second lead, we can use this."
"What do you mean? How?" Rodrick asks.
Jason begins to build up evidence. "Do you guys know any landmarks around A. Bonifacio?"
Elle raises a brow. "Landmarks?"
"Yeah, like hospitals, markets, malls."
Rodrick interjects, "Oh, there's a mall there. Ayala Cloverleaf."
"So the mall, Ayala Cloverleaf, is near Ron's area; and Jane, like she said yesterday, lives somewhere in Tondo. Does Jane have to go through A. Bonifacio to get to Tondo?"
Elle answers, "She could. And even though she doesn't, she could looking for jailbreakers in that area, so... two birds, one stone."
Jason agrees, "Yeah, she finds a jailbreaker and pins Ron on the phone."
"Wait. Yesterday, before we went home, you said that you got another feeling of when we'll get another hit on the location and we did." Rodrick continues, "How?"
"Uh... For some strange reason, I thought that the thief would switch the phone on some time last night. And I thought that if the phone would turn on, it would most likely be at the thief's home."
"That'd make sense," Elle adds. "I mean, why would you be roaming the streets at 9:52 in the evening?"
Rodrick follows, "Unless you're at home and you're messing around with Maria's phone, trying to guess her password or passcode."
The three of us goes silent after hearing the word 'passcode'.
Rodrick continues, "Does anyone of our classmates know Maria's birthday?"
Jason sighs, "I guess we'll know when we ask her."
Elle taps a finger on the table. "Alright, so that's be our new lead: Jane is attempting to frame Ron."
Jason nods. "One that needs further verification."
"Okay, we still have time to spare," says Rodrick and the three of them stands up to leave. "We'll be in the library if you need anything."
Jason gives a thumbs-up. "Thanks."
"Gotta scratch at least one of the agendas off the list," I thought, so I scurry to the place where Abigail's group hangs out in; but on the way, I bumped into someone of equal importance...
