Chapter 9

"Look Luke, stop trying to fucking mess with my feelings ! it's not cute "

I couldn't help the tears falling from my eyes.

"Nat, I'm not fucking with your feelings! I'm serious, I want to be with you!"

Luke held me in a tight hug.

"I already told you Luke, I don't want to be hurt"

I sobbed.When I noticed I was in his arms I hugged him even tighter

"I'm not going to hurt you, I'm not like Bryan"

I knew I liked Luke, but I didn't ever think I could like someone the way I loved Bryan, but I do. It's Luke.

"Luke,"

I whispered. We were sitting on his front door steps and I was in his arms.

"Yes?"

I knew that I had to tell him how I feel.

"I love you .."

It felt good to finally say it to someone who was faithful to me, and honest with me.

A huge smile appeared on Luke's face. He gave me a huge kiss. Minutes later a car pulled up in the drive way.

"Who is that?"

"It looks like Nina's car" Luke stands up.

And he was right Nina comes out of the car, she looks a mess. Her eyeliner in running down her cheeks, he hair is a mess, and she looks like she hasn't slept in days.

"Nina what are you doing here..?"

She looks at Luke and then over at me.

"I don't understand how blind you can be" she says to me.

"What are you talking about?"

I now stand up, and look at her. Her blonde hair is thrown in a messy bun.

"I'm talking about you and Gavin, How do you not know?"

She looked drunk.

" What do I not know Nina?"

Luke came up to me and put his hand on my waist.

Nina began to cry.

"Gavin loves you Natalia, not me! And your just going to hurt him !"

She was now in tears.

I couldn't respond, I didn't know what to say. She was hurt. I know how it feels to love someone who doesn't love you back.

"I'm not going to hurt him, he is my best friend"

Nina sobbed her eyes out.

"Don't you see the way he looks at you! I wish he looked at me that way"

I looked over at Luke who was clenching his fist tightly.

I couldn't feel what she was feeling right now but I knew what it's like. It's possibly the worst feeling ever. It's like getting slapped in the face by reality.

I walked over to Nina and gave her a hug.

I don't want to think about Gavin loving me right now. I just wanted to be here for Nina, I must have missed judged her but she is just a girl. A hurt girl.

"I'm so sorry, I know what it's like " I said.

Nina sobbed even more.

"Please, don't hurt him"
