Is it okay that I forgave him. He slept with a prostitute ... but he was also under the influence of alcohol.

I woke up under Luke's magenta colored sheets. He was still asleep and snoring as usually. His arms on my waist hugging me tightly. I managed to slowly take his arms off me without waking him up. I quietly slipped out of the bed and went straight to the bathroom.

I shut the door behind and looked at myself in the mirror .

Was everything finally okay? Do I have to continue with all the drama? Can I finally be happy? My questions were answered as soon as I heard my cell phone ring. I ran to the bedroom trying not to wake Luke. It was my mom.

I knew I had to answer her at some time so I went back in the bathroom to talk to her.

"Natalia?"

"Yes mom?"

"I have been calling you for days, I even called Gavin"

I ran my fingers through my hair and sat on the sink counter.

"I'm sorry, I've just been busy"

"Busy? what kind of busy? Natalia, your in a different state where you know no one and have no money? How are you getting money?Drugas?" She asked in Spanish.

"Ew no mom, I'm not doing drugs"

"Where are you staying?"

"At Gavin's friends house"

I heard her sigh.

"Natalia, where are you sleeping? the floor? a couch?"

God my mother is annoying.

"Obviously a bed mom, look I can't talk right now things were going great until you called."

She gasped.

" A bed? who's bed? is there a boy involved cause if not why are you still in LA? I know you and if there wasn't a different boy you would be home crying your heart out to me"

"Mom!"

Was all I could say. I hate how she knows me so well.

"Fine I know I'm annoying you but your my daughter and I care about you"

"I know, but I have to go"

"Ok, Te amo"

"Te amo"

I hung up and sat my phone down.

Everything she had said was right. I got in the shower but couldn't help think what am I doing with my life. I don't even know if I'm going to college. It's not that I can't afford it or I never got in, I got a scholarship to a university in Florida

I'm just not sure. My plan on becoming a famous movie director isn't really going to help me right now. I need a real life plan. Gavin is going to college for sure, his Dad is a Dean and made sure to get his only son a spot in college.

When I got out the shower, I got dressed. I went in Luke's room. He was awake and looking go clothes in his closet.

"So who called you this morning?"

Was he ease dropping on my phone call?

"My mom"

"What did she want?"

Suddenly he seems to know everything about everything. Maybe I was just annoyed.

"Nothing important "

"I mean you were in the bathroom for like 30 minutes, nothing important ?"

"I was taking a shower .."

I roll my eyes and lay back on the bed starring at the ceiling.

"We aren't supposed to keep things from each other, If I'm asking its because I care"

"I know"

"What did she say?"

"She wants to know when I'm coming back home. She wants to know who I'm sleeping with and where I am. She wants I know if I'm going to do anything with my life, like college"

Luke just looked at me.

They way I said it made it sound like a question. As if I was asking him what am I going to do with my life.

If he is serious about this relationship thing he needs to understand Distance.

"So your going back to New York?"

"Possibly "

"What for?"

"College, and life? I mean Im not going to rely on you for everything "

"Why not? I can take care of you, you don't have to worry about that"

I smiled.

He is sweet for saying he will take care of me.

"Luke, I don't believe in stereotypes that the man takes care of the women. I can't and I won't dating or single I want I be able to rely on myself."

Luke just smiled.

"What?" I asked

"Nothing, I just expected that from you"

His smile was huge. He came over and put his hands on my waist giving me a kiss.

Summer Vacation is almost over, I'm going to have to go home and at the end of the day I still don't know where me and Luke stand.
