yoongi walked out of the doors of the college to be greeted by a bunch of loud, obnoxious boys. also known as all his friends. but he loved them like that.

"hey, yoongi." yoongi smiled as he was greeted by jungkook. yoongi loved all the boys, they were his best friends. but he had to admit him and jungkook were the closest out of them all. they were friends first and they'll always be friends.

"hey, kook." jungkook gave yoongi a little bunny smile back as he waved. yoongi motioned to seokjin and namjoon, who were arguing about something. jungkook just gave him a shrug as  yoongi walked towards them.

"you illiterate fuck." the boys chuckled as jin and namjoon were arguing about some nonsense. it normally happened. it was the question of what they were arguing about.

"i have an iq of 148, thanks."

"you're obviously shoving that up your ass right now." the boys laughed as yoongi stepped forward. he was known as the "ring leader" of the group, since he practically made it. he was also the one person everyone relied on to sort out namjin's petty fights.

"what's this about now?" he looked at both boys questionably, raising one eyebrow as he waited for an answer.

"right so i asked joon this riddle right. you have a single match and are in a pitch black room with a candle, an oil lamp, and a gas stove. which do you light first?" yoongi nodded as he looked at namjoon to answer the riddle.

"and i said the candle because it's the easiest." yoongi just stared before he chuckled, patting namjoon on the shoulder.

"oh, namjoon. it's obviously the match." yoongi walked straight past a dumbfounded namjoon and a laughing seokjin, the rest of the boys laughing too.
yoongi smirking as he walked off, the boys following him. they were going to the cafe like they do everyday.

soon they arrived at the cafe that they always went to after college. unless one of them had detention or something important to do. but this was a tradition for them and they never failed to do it.

"how was detention, yoongi?" taehyung asked as he finished ordering his drink, the waiter leaving to pass through their orders. the rest of the boys were looking towards yoongi, waiting for some tea to spill.

"boring i guess." yoongi shrugged. "i mean, i'm close to getting kicked out and i have to apologise."

"shit, yoongi." hoseok chimes in. he knew yoongi wasn't like what the teachers thought. he knew what yoongi was doing was wrong but he couldn't change people's opinions. that was up to yoongi. "can they really do that?"

"apparently. i'm letting it pass over my head like bird shit though." they all stopped as the waiter brought their drinks to their table, all the boys thanking him as he walked off.

"are you going to apologise?" namjoon asked, looking at his friend hopefully. some part of all of them hoped that yoongi would apologise and change his act. but they didn't fully believe it.

"fuck no." yoongi sipped his drink as most of the boys sighed. getting their hopes up.

"he's a weirdo anyway." jungkook laughed as he nudged yoongi. yoongi laughing along with him. "i'M gOnNa FuCkInG kIlL hIm." they laughed even more before they were wiping their tears.

"yeah, he is." yoongi patted jungkook's back as they continued to laugh. both of them turning to see the judging eyes of the rest of their friends. yoongi took another sip of his drink before he placed it down and sighed. "can i help you?"

"you know you should apologise." seokjin said. "you've probably hurt him a lot, yoongi. imagine if you were in his shoes."

"whatever he has doesn't fucking exist." seokjin scoffed as he balled his fist, namjoon grabbing his hands to try and calm him down. "he's just an attention seeking little shit."

"you know what. you are so unbelievable. i'll see you tomorrow, i'm not sitting here." seokjin slammed his money down for his drink and stood up, stopping by yoongi as he was walking. "if you don't apologise by the end of next week, we're done."

"jin!" namjoon called after him as he walked out. he quickly put his money on the table and got up. "he's just angry, yoongi. i'm sure he'll come around." namjoon pat his shoulder as he ran after seokjin.

"you know he's right." taehyung said keeping his eyes on his drink instead of looking up. "you should apologise."

"not you too. i feel like the only one that gets me is jungkook." yoongi sighed, running a hand through his hair. he was frustrated. can't they see that jimin was breaking them apart without even knowing them or being there.

"that's nice of you, yoongi." taehyung sighed, sipping his drink. taehyung motioned something to hoseok who nodded. they both got their money out and placed it on the table. getting up and grabbing their bags. "hoseok and i have better things we could be doing than sitting here. see you tomorrow."

"just wait until you make jungkook into someone he's not. then you'll know you've fucked up." hoseok whispered into yoongi's ear before taehyung led him out.

"guess it's just us." yoongi chuckled as he raised his drink, jungkook doing the same and clinking their cups together. "they're just jealous."

"yeah. they'll come around." jungkook sighed. they both talked for a while. laughed. before they both put their money on the table and walked out. yoongi and jungkook lived relatively close to each other so they walked the same way. jungkook arriving at his street first.

"night, kid." yoongi ruffled jungkook's hair as he giggled. must be ticklish.

"back at you." jungkook laughed as he waved and walked off. yoongi walking in the opposite direction to the big apartment building. he greeted the owner and got in the lift that only took him to the 27th floor. yoongi lived on the 28th floor and the roof was the 30th floor. it meant he walked straight past jimin's house everyday.

as he stepped out of the lift, he came face to face with jimin. he didn't say anything as he shoved past jimin, pushing his shoulder with his body harshly. the little pained "ow" that jimin let out pained his heart but he just kept on walking to the stairs to go to his floor. maybe seokjin and everyone was right. maybe he should apologise. yoongi thought he's sleep on it. and that's what he did.
