Yelena exits the bathroom and ties her white silk robe, smiling at a knocked out Antrell who's snoring. He has the sheets covering his lower half as his leg stuck out from other sheets. He was sleeping hard thanks to the amount of drinks he indulged in last night. He wasn't a heavy drinker, but he decided to go all out last night. Yelena draws back the curtains lighting the room up with the morning sun. Every morning at seven a.m., she does her morning workout which is yoga and meditation. It's something she does before starting her day. Afterwards she takes a shower and brushes her teeth, then makes the bed. With Antrell being home of course, she thought to let him rest while she got breakfast started. He'd be up soon. Entering the kitchen, Yelena fills up the filter and turns on the coffee machine.

She then fills up the kettle with water and places it on the electric stove top. After selecting her morning playlist on the small speaker, she opens the cabinet at grabs the pancake mix. On the menu for today are cinnamon wheat waffles, cheesy egg whites and turkey sausages. She needed something on her stomach as well as Antrell. Once she's done, she makes the plates and sits Antrell's in the microwave. After turning off the kettle and coffee machine, she grabs a mug and a tea bag. After preparing her tea, she grabs her plate and sits at the kitchen counter. Antrell walks down the hall while scratching his chest and yawning. Entering the kitchen he narrows his eyebrows to his wife eating.

"Where mine at?" He questions while nearing her. Yelena playfully roll her eyes and laughs while continuing to eat.

"You better try that again." She tells him. Antrell smirks and leans down to reach.

"Good morning beautiful." He chuckles, kissing her cheek.

"Good morning handsome. Food is in the microwave and your coffee is hot and ready." She tells him. Nodding, he pecks her lips and pulls back.

"Thank you. You're the goat." He says, kissing her one more time. As he pulls back, they share light laughter. Mornings like this is something they both missed. The two met at a nightclub a few years after college. Yelena was a journalist trying to make it as an author and Antrell worked multiple jobs. Yelena was out celebrating her best friend's twenty-fifth birthday. Antrell was a bouncer that night and any other night he was minding his business. Until he had to jump in and break up a fight or dispute. He had eyed Yelena a few times, but he couldn't talk to her while working. Hours later he had gotten the chance when he had to break up a fight. It was Yelena and her friend fighting a guy who was nothing but disrespectful. When he grabbed her he asked if she was okay and she replied with a yes. He didn't see any scratches on anything on her face which caused them both to stare. When he saw her knuckles he offered to ice them and Yelena couldn't say no. He was tall, dark, handsome and those eyes could make you melt. While the club was closing, they chatted and exchanged numbers. After two months of talking they began dating, and here they are six years later happily married. Yelena takes a sip of her tea and watches as Antrell sits next to her. He begins to eat and pours syrup on his waffles.

"Hey, who was that woman you were talking to last night?" She decides to question. Antrell forks a few egg whites and narrows his eyebrows.

"Sophia? She's my co-worker we worked on a few projects together." He says through chews. Yelena nods while grabbing her mug of tea.

"Mm. Would I be wrong to think she might have a thing for you?" Taking a sip of her tea, she cuts her eyes at Antrell who scoffs a laugh. He knew acting weird would probably make her suspect something, so he tries to play it cool.

"Stop. That woman is not worried about me." He chuckles. Shrugging, Yelena grabs the empty plate and hops down off the stool.

"I mean who wouldn't find you attractive. They can look, but touching is off limits." Antrell smiles and continues to eat while not saying a word. Instead, he decides to change the subject. The one they were having became a little uncomfortable.
