Honest Man-•-
Yelena heads to the kitchen and opens the fridge. She closes it and opens the freezer, skimming the shelves for something sweet to eat. When she sees nothing, she scoffs and closes the freezer. At this point, she'd take anything but knew she couldn't keep doing this. For the past two months she's been depressed. This is the lowest she's ever felt in a long time. These last two months, she's kept to herself while trying to write but she couldn't. Her mind was blank at the moment because the topic was no where to be found. Exhaling deeply, she heads to her room and grabs her phone to order something. Feeling her phone vibrate in her hand, she looks down at the contact and sees it Montell wanting to FaceTime. Rolling her eyes, she ignores the call. Sitting her phone down on the counter, she opens the drawer groaning to her phone ringing again. It's Montell calling back and once again she ignores it. She finds the binder of menus, and opens it to see what she wants. While doing so, her phone alerts her of a text message.
7:05p.m.
Montell: I know your big head ass ain't ignoring my calls.
Yelena: I obviously don't feel like talking.
But you feel like texting.
Don't you have work you need to be doing? Why are you pestering me?😩
Nope and because I miss your big head ass.😩
My head was never big 😒
Agree to disagree
7:15p.m.
Whatever.
What are you doing?
Minding my business, something that you should be doing.
You are my buisness now open up the door. I'm outside.
Go away!
Yelena hears a knock on the door, groaning as she closes the binder. She didn't know what Montell was doing at her place. She obviously knew he was worried but she wished he would ask first before he just showed up. Closing her robe, she heads down the stairs to the door where Montell steady knocks. Growing annoyed, she takes the latches off the door and snatches it open. He leans off the door frame and enters the house with a smirk. Yelena closes the door and locks it, following behind him up to the living room. Montell flops down on the couch as Yelena stops and shifts her weight to the right. She raises an eyebrow while crossing her arms across her chest.
"What?" Montell questions, kicking his feet up.
"You know what. What are you doing here?" She questions.
"I came to check on you Yelena. You've been ignoring my calls and text for two months. The most activity seen on any of your social media accounts was from two days ago. That's unusual for someone who updates at least two times a week." Montell informs.
"You stalking me now?" She questions with a small attitude. Montell sighs while sitting up and shaking his head.
"No I'm not. I'm just concerned. Come here." He says, patting the seat cushion next to him. Yelena relaxes and has a seat next to him. She understood that everyone is concerned about her well being, but she was fine. She could handle it.
