"Mr. Williams, Lizzie's in danger. We need to get back." He adjusts his hands and rests his head on them.

"Go ahead. You two did well."

The two of us vamp-speed back to the house and I end up crashing into the rose bushes and exit unscathed. "I'm good." MG chortles at my antics and I jump onto his back causing both of us to topple to the ground; me on the ground and him on top.

"That was your fault." He whines.

"Actually, you're the clumsy one. Stop putting the fault in my stars."

"Very nice."

"Thank you."

A roar rings out through the school as we enter. A creature at the end of the hallway with a stone-body build, roars again and turns around to face us.

"Run!" MG grabs my hand and yanks me up the stairs into a tight janitor's closet, barely any room between us. "This isn't awkward at all. Definitely not." I say in a high voiced tone.

"Stay quiet. I think it's gone." He puts a finger to my lips and his other tool grabs my attention as it prods my thigh. "Sorry. Not something I can control."

"You purposely yanked us into a tight space knowing full well there wasn't going to be very much between us."

"I'm sorry for my lack of judging rooms. Sorry I'm not perfect like Rafael or Josie. Sorry I'm-" I smash my lips against his and he stops rambling. His eyes clear and he licks his lips as I bite my lower lip at his boldness. "What was that for?"

"No one's perfect. We all have flaws. I'm sorry for al the stress I've caused. I just really like you."

"I like you too, Taylor. You're beautiful, charismatic, caring, and always seem to know how I'm feeling. I'm sorry all this happened to you. I know it wasn't your fault." His lips meet mine again and his right hand pins both wrists above my head on the wall, his fangs grazing my lips and throat. I grit mine and bite back a moan, his one fang creating a trickle of blood down between my breasts which licks and I let out the moan I'd been holding. "I'm sorry. I didn't mean to get carried away."

"MG, you're fine. You're actually a pretty good kisser." I push away and freak the door open, my shoulder still bleeding a little. "I don't hear anything. I think we're safe."

I grab Milton's hand and we peer down the stairs. Not a sound is made. Then a loud smashing of wood against stone create a loud "boom" noise and we try to find out what happened.

Hope, Josie, Alaric, and several kids sit astonished in the dining hall. Hope has a spell book in her hand and holds a price of the statue in her other hand.

"That was a gargoyle?" Milton asks, mending one of the wings.

"It never wanted to hurt me. Gargoyles protect the weak from the evil, or supernatural, in your case."

"This school keeps getting weirder and weirder."

"You got that right."

"Everyone get to bed. If you need anything, find a buddy."
