Translucent (Legacies FF)

Earlier that day, we found Kaleb feeding on one of the cheerleaders before dragging him to the student parking lot.

Dana's now awake and she looks horrible.

"Why do I feel so sick? Did someone poison me?"

"You'll feel better once you feed."

"Don't even talk about food right now. I don't feel so good...." Black goo spurts out her mouth. What looks like an intestine and liver follow. MG looks away and gags.

"What'd that girl eat?"

"She's literally puking her guts out." 

Soon Dana's nothing but loose skin and black ooze.

MG jumps up into the bus and picks up a comic book which portrays a spider.

"What if it is a spider? I mean, it sucks the soul out of its prey, then inhabits that body till they find a new one." 

"I had a vision this morning when I grabbed Connor's arm," Landon's attention falls on me. "I saw Connor, this massive spider, and a house. They're all connected somehow."

"Was there anything specific about the house?"

"Cobwebs, lots of them. And a lot of trees."

Lizzie collapses and starts shaking. I grab her hand and see something, conjuring up the vision. 

Josie and Rafael caught in a giant spider web. She's siphoning magic from Rafael and Connor transforms into a massive Daddy Long Legs, climbing the wood to its prey. Josie hits it with fireball.

Falling to my knees, I grab MG's hand and squeeze my eyes shut. 

"What's wrong? Taylor? Lizzie?"

"It's a twin thing. Hang on, I saw something."

"Lizzie, you okay?" Hope grabs her by the arm.

"Tell them what you saw, Taylor. Josie's in danger. I can feel it."

"The spider's wearing Connor's skin. It's the same house and I know where it is now. And, Josie and Raf are in danger."

"We need to save them."

Together, we all speed to the backwoods of the academy and I spot the house up ahead. Lizzie's phone rings.

"Hey, dad."

"Where's Hope? And why are you running?"

"You're going to have to trust us on this, Dad, but our friend and my sister is in danger."

And she purposely hangs up on him.

The house looms in front of us and Hope rushes inside. I follow her and see Josie and Rafael fighting to get out from the clutches of the web. They pull out and land on the first floor, both uninjured.

"We found Sasha. Taylor, think you're up for the challenge?" Josie asks. 

"Hell yeah."

"We'll draw it away. Grab Sasha and get out." Hope grabs the twin's hands and they all siphon each other's powers. I jump up to the 2nd floor, cut Sasha out of the web, and slide down the railing before vamp-speeding out of there with her body.

"She's alive. I can smell her." I unwrap all the white streams and free her. "You're okay, Sasha. A mountain lion attacked you and Dana. You got away but Dana didn't. She sacrificed herself to save you. You should be thankful."
