Sophia's POV
I am awaken by my father yelling at me to get up and the burning light that's shining through my closed eyelids.
I squinted my blue eyes trying to get use to the sudden brightness of the sun. I hear a knock at the door and i jump from the unexpected noise in addition to that i banged my head on the head bord. I hufff and say "come in" to the man who just made me bump my head.
"Good morning sweetheart, don't forget you're baby sitting your cousins today and Shane" he said and walk over to my bed and sat nest to me and made the bed dent in.
"What !!! I thought it was on Wednesday ? I can't watch them, I'm going to the movies with Shawn. I shout in annoyance this can't be happening to me.
"Today is Wednesday, i guess spending some much time with lovery boy has got you all confused." my dad said with a slight smirk and a low chuckle trying to be funny.
" Dad this isn't funny, i can't cancel on Shawn" i say glaring at him
" That's the only thing you can do because your not cancelling on your family " he said sternly. He got up and walk out of the door and i roll my eyes. Just a few weeks ago he was all about me going out more and having fun now he's making me stay home and watch my brother and cousins.
I run my hands threw my hair and roll out of bed maybe while I'm in the shower, ill have time to think of an excuse to tell Shawn why I can't come I don't want to lie to him but how is it gonna sound if i tell him i cancelled on him so i can watch a whole bunch of annoying, snobby little kids. Exactly not gone to sound so good.
I rout threw my closet trying to find a suitable outfit for today. I don't want to wear nothing to fancy because I'm going to be with kids all day. I don't want anything to dorky i might take them to the park and i don't want to be seen in something like that. After what seem like hours i finally found the perfect outfit which are a cute red crop top with skinny jeans and a pair of black vans and to make it a little more girler i put a red head band and its the shape of a bow, its just like the one Camila Cabelo has, i got it because i love her and her style.
I decided to just straight up and tell him I can't make it because I have to baby sit. I don't want to ruin the relationship we have just because I lied and if it's one thing I hate the most it's liers.
