I just got a coffee and I think I'm the happiest person in the world 💛

Do you guys like coffee? If so, how do you like it? And if not, what beverages do you prefer? Besides water, of course.

Anywho, hello lovelies! How is everyone doing this Sunday? I hope you're all doing fantastic. You guys resting it up today? Homeworking and studying like I should be? At musical practice? In sports? Whatever it may be, I hope today is great fun!

Today, I bring you a rant not about me and my social circumstances, my homework, stress, or life, but about something completely random that I feel so strongly about all of the sudden.

Or...uh...okay, I felt so strongly about it on Thursday 😂 Right now I'm just happy I have coffee 😂 I'm busy, what can I say? But nevertheless, I'm writing it now so...what does it matter if I do it when I am heated? I am sure as I write, the feelings will strike up again.

Today, I bring to you all, a rant specifically about Star Wars.

Right off the bat, I'd like to start out by saying that this is merely my opinion. Yours may be different than mine and you do not have to agree with me. In no way am I trying to makenanyone to agree with me. I'm simply venting. Please know that I am no more right than someone with a different opinion. This is solely for entertainment and because I need to get this out.

That disclaimer aside, let us begin...in a galaxy far far away...

Too cheesy? 😂 Yeah...maybe...

*sips coffee*

Okay so, I freaking love the new Star Wars movies. I know a lot of people differ in their opinion, but you guysssssss they are so so good! I never used to like Star Wars as a little child all the way up until I was like 13-14. I know I know, it is so odd for me not to like the classics...it's the one thing that's old that I just cannot like no matter how hard I try! I just...well, I thought the plot was just...meh. I loved the old characters, but the movies were sleepers for me. It just never did it for me. I couldn't get into it. Which was...well, it singled me out. I mean, Star Wars is a big deal to my dad's side of the family, which made me the odd one when at my dad's house. That family is nuts over Star Wars, where as my mom is like...eh. I mean for crying out loud, my dad almost broke up with my mom when they were dating because she had no clue what Star Wars even was. That is how insane my father and his side of the family is about it.

My sister jumped on the bandwagon the year before The Force Awakens came out and she and my dad would watch all the original movies on loop every weekend. I'd sit through them sometimes, but other nights, I'd just go to bed 😂 And because it was something they watched so much, I began to really hate it. Their obsession got on preteen/young teen Gracelyn's last nerve. However, they pressed forth.

New Hope.
Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi
New Hope.
Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi
New Hope.
Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi
New Hope.
Empire Strikes Back
Return of the Jedi

You get the jist 😂

So when The Force Awakens came out in theaters the Christmas that it did, I was dragged along to it, much to my dismay. However, little irritated Gracelyn slowly began to sit up a little straighter in her seat as the movie before her eyes continued. She found herself loving the new characters, the plot, the attention-grabbers...and for the first time ever, she enjoyed a Star Wars movie.
