I wake up to hear loud thumping on the door. "What the fuck? It's only seven." Bakugo groans and turns around still hugging me.
"Let go, it could be important." He let out a sharp sigh before allowing me to get up and make my way to the door.
I hardly even got time to open the door before Mina bursts into the room. "Morning! I have awesome news! Oh hey Bakugo!" She starts to look at me like she's interrogating me on the spot.
"My lease was up and I didn't have anywhere to move so Bakugo said I could stay here." I explained wondering where Bakugo went until I heard the shower running.
"I was wondering about that. Well at least he's kind to you, well of course he has to be nice... He's your boyfriend. Oh yeah I had a reason to come up here! The students majoring in drama are running a play soon and I came up here to ask if you both wanted to audition with me and the other guys." I didn't know what to say... I mean, I had school and work and I hardly had time for myself.
"Hmm I don't know... It seems like a lot of responsibility if I do get a part in it..." I say scratching the back of my neck.
"Nonsense! I'll sign you and Bakugo up okay!" She says walking away.
"Hey wait! Not Bakugo, it's okay if it's just me! But not Bakugo!" I didn't want to drag him into this, he's going to be so mad!
I walk back into the room feeling guilty about what I just got him into. "Who was that at the door?" I spin around to him not meeting his eyes in the hope that I could fix it without him knowing.
"I-It was just t-the landlord." I lied to him instantly regretting it.
He looks into my eyes closely and just shrugs before walking off to grab his bag. I quickly use the bathroom and do my private things before grabbing my bag and following Bakugo to get breakfast from the cafe.
We both ordered something to go, a coffee and a croissant. I spot Mina and the others and try to get Bakugo to walk in the opposite direction. "What the hell is wrong with you?"He asks cocking his eyebrow.
"Nothing! Let's just go another way!" I say insisting. Before we could escape Kaminari pointed us out.
"Hey you two! We've been looking for you two!" Dammit we didn't make it, I start to panic internally at the fact that me and Bakugo are going to audition for a play against our will.
"Let's go to that audition!" Mina says dragging me and Kaminari and Hanta dragging Bakugo along.
"What the fuck! Let go extras!" Bakugo fights back breaking free from their hold and comes over to me grabbing my hand and pulling me away from Mina. "What the fuck is going on here?" He looked angry and confused.
"Kirishima didn't tell you? He wanted you and him to audition for the play that the drama students are making!" He looks over at me now clearly irritated.
"Is that true?" He asks.
"N-no! Not at all! Mina came over this morning and asked me I said no as I had too much already going on, but she did it anyway." I say feeling sorry for lying to him before.
He let out a loud sigh. "Okay it's taking all my self control not to beat the shit out of you all so just tell me if you can take us out." He closes his eyes and pinches the bridge of his nose.
"No... Once you sign up there's no going back..." She looked guilty for doing it out of our will.
"Here's what we're are going to do, we will audition for that shitty play. If we get a part, we get a part no whining." He said looking at me and I nod. "And also, if you little shits EVER pull something like this off again, I will kill you." He red eyes still fiery. They all nod and we start walking to the drama department.
"Hello are you all here to audition for the play?" A lady with blond curly hair asks us.
"Yep that's us!" Mina exclaims and then we all get our names ticked off before entering the audition room.
"Everybody line up outside and you will be called in one by one." A man ordered. Lots of people went in and came out, all feeling the suspense of not knowing whether they'll get the part or not. Mina, Kyoka, Kaminari and Hanta all had their turn, and now my name had been called out.
"Kirishima Eijirou!"
"Here!" I answer feeling nervous until I feel a hand against the small part of my back. Bakugo let out a little smile of encouragement and I felt some of my nerves disappear.
Going into the room it was mostly black with a few chairs and a table of examiners with one chair in front. "Please take a seat." The woman offered and I accepted. They ask me a few questions about why I wanted to act (obviously I lied) and what my talents were along with me singing a song to them.
"Okay Kirishima thank you for coming we will announce who was successful once everyone has auditioned." I smile and thank them for their time before speeding my way out to see Bakugo go in.
Everyone finished up and waited the for results. "Okay the roles are on this piece of paper. You can come up and see who you are." All of the students rush up to the board some disappointed and some jumping with joy. We all go up when the board is relatively clear and I see my name under one of the supporting roles.
"Ohhh Kirishima you're so lucky! We all only got villagers!" Mina pouted.
"Who did you get Bakugo?" I skim through the names and see that he's the main lead. "Wow Bakugo! I guess you're an artist in every way huh?" I smile feeling happy for him. He just grunts in response, I'm guessing e didn't want to be the lead.
"Hello are you Bakugo?" A short girl with light brown hair and the pinkest cheeks you will ever see asked him.
"Yeah why does it matter to you?" He rudely asks.
"Well i'm the female lead so I hope we both work well together!" She smiles and holds out her hand for him to shake. She was really cute too I was really anxious that Bakugo was going to leave me for her. My stomach drops when he accepts her hand and shakes it.
"Yeah see you around." He says and smiles. He smiled at another person... And it wasn't me... I start to feel hot pools forming in my eyes, I don't want him to leave me but then again she's probably better for him. He'd appreciate a girl not another guy. I hold back my tears with a big smile so nobody has to worry about anything.
" Do you want to practice some lines with me?" She asks him and he looks at me. I smile and nod at him telling him to go ahead. He smiles at me and ruffles my hair before he walks away with her.
"Kirishima... Are you okay?" Mina asks putting a hand on my shoulder.
I brush her hand away, "Yeah I'm fine... I-I'm going to go to my room for tonight. Night you guys..." I walk away with my head down towards the ground until I walk out of the building and then I start running towards my room. I make it into my room and lock the door before jumping onto my bed and letting the tears stream down my face. I never want anyone to see me cry especially not him, not Bakugo. I pack a small bag and leave a note for Bakugo saying that my mum was in town for a while so I was staying with her until she leaves. I leave and make my way to a motel and book it for a week hoping not to see Bakugo for a while until I get my thoughts in check. But I knew that I couldn't stay away from school, so the only time I'll see him for a while is at school. Yeah this is the best for both of us I keep reciting in my head.
