CHAPTER 1: THE FAMILY
Mark Tuan a normal 19-year-old Highschool boy, sick of 2 things: School and the 3 typical options from his parents 'choose a lawyer, engineer or a doctor' are the words which came out of his dad's mouth on his 17th birthday, and he knew his father would not take no for an answer.
Loud shoutings woke up Marks peaceful sleep, making him drag his feet downstairs greeted by nothing special but his dad's cold glare 'if looks could kill hundreds of people would've died already' thought Mark while taking a seat next to his sister and opposite his father
"where were you last night Mark?"
the man said in a stern voice
"out with Damon" Mark said bluntly not surprised by his parent's reaction
"dear lord, Mark you know that the boy is 5 years older than you and doesn't even have a job" said his mom in a disappointed manner
"look at your sister, Dawn is already taking part in 3 curricular activities in school and is school president," she said smiling proudly,
Mark envied his 15-year-old sister a lot as she was the perfect daughter, sister everything, Dawn named after the first time his parents met which was on 3rd March, both went early to see the Dawn and eventually met and Mark was named after the God of war which is very common in the US.No matter how hard Mark tried, people including his parents preferred his twin over him, Mark is quiet, Dawn is Lively, Mark is a straight B student, Dawn is a straight A+ student, Dawn had her life planned out on becoming a psychologist while Mark...he had an interest in Dance.
"so son, I found out you haven't been going to school lately..why?"
Mark just stayed quiet making his dad impatient by the second
"WHY?!" he screamed banging his hand on the table making everyone flinch, but Mark didn't dare to move a muscle
"ANSWER ME GOD DANMIT!"
someone grabbed Marks hand underneath the table squeezing it, he immediately knew it was Dawn, she knew more than anyone that Mark loved to dance
"I want to dance".
