Chapter 58: Taken at The Mall

Ariana's P.O.V.

A week has passed since I've last seen Justin.

I'm guessing Selena stayed longer or something, I really don't know and I really don't care.

I've been looking for Sophia and hanging out with Jai. My mom was really upset when she found out I was hanging out with him again so she hasn't talked to me all week either.

Jai is a really great guy, I don't know why I ever let him go.

I do feel horrible for not telling Justin about the pregnancy though, but what can I do now? Nothing.

I look up from my breakfast to see Jeanette walking into the dining room, talking on her phone.

"I love you, Be good, bye"She hangs up and sits down next to me.

"Who was that?"I ask her.

"Brianna, Ever since we sent her back to my family, I've been calling everyday to check up on her"She tells me.

"Oh"I simply say and continue eating.

"Today I'm going to the mall with Jai. Want to come?"I ask.

"Ariana, I know you and Justin are mad at each other, but you both need to man up and just get back together"She tells me.

"We didn't break up"I say. "It looks like it"She says.

"Whatever, do you want to come or not?"I ask. "Sure"She sighs.

We finish up breakfast and get ready.

Frankie goes looking with Pattie and everyone else while my mom just stays home like usual.

Jai picks us up and we go to the mall.

First we go to Tommy Hilfiger. After that we go to Ralph Lauren.

We shop around to a whole bunch of stores and pick out a few stuff to buy.

"Can we go to the bank real quick so I can take out some money?"Jai asks as we walk through the crowded walkway.

"Sure"I say. We all walk into the closest bank and wait in line.

A guy with a huge black hoodie comes into line behind us. He looks kinda creepy so I look away.

Jai takes my hand in his and smiles at me. I smile back and Jeanette just rolls her eyes.

I feel a tap on my shoulder and I turn around too see the creepy hoodie guy.

"Yes?"I ask.

"Come with me, now"He demands.

"Excuse me?"I ask. Jeanette and Jai turn around to join in the conversation.

"Is there a problem here?"Jai asks.

"I need all three of you to come with me now"He demands again and adds Jai and Jeanette in the mix.

"Why?"Jeanette folds her arms.

"Don't ask questions, just come"He says. I try to get a better look at his face but his sunglasses and hoodie shade his appearance.

"No, we don't even know you"Jai says.

"Fine, your making me do this"He says and brings out a gun. I feel my eyes widen and I hide behind Jai.

"Everybody get down now!"He yells.

Everyone in the bank screams and lowers down to the floor, including us.

The creepy hoodie guy walks up to the counter.

"Give me all your money now!"He demands while pointing his gun to the tellers.

They all quickly stuff money into a huge bag.

Once they finish, they pass it to him.
He turns around and focuses his attention back on us.

"Now as I said before, come with me or this little girl dies"He yells and points his gun to a crying girl holding her mom's leg.

I stand up but Jeanette pulls me back down.

"What are you doing?"She asks.

"I'm not gonna let the poor child die, let's just go"I say and stand up completely. Jeanette sighs and stands up. Jai does the same.

We walk towards him and he pushes us in front of him with his gun aimed the back of our heads.

"Walk"He demands and we do. We walk out the bank and into the crowded mall again.

People notice the gun and start screaming. Everyone goes wild and begins running everywhere.

We walk out the mall and the creepy guy guides us to a huge black van.

He shoves us into the back of the van and locks the door. I hear a door open, knowing he just got in the car.

The car starts and I feel him drive away.

"I can't believe this is happening"Jeanette looks scared.

"We will be okay"Jai tries to calm her down. I feel scared too so I cuddle up into his arms.

"We'll be alright"His soothing voice repeats.

I soon feel the van come to a stop.

The creepy guy comes back and unlocks us from the back.

He brings out blind folds from his pocket and puts them on us.

He leads us out and guides us the rest of the way. I soon feel myself being pushed into a room.

I get pushed down into what feels like a chair.

I feel the guy unwrap the blindfold and I notice I'm in an empty room with nothing but a table and this chair that I'm sitting in.

The guy takes his hoodie off.

"Mr. Brooks?"I ask confused.

Why the heck did Jai's dad just kidnap me?

"Hey darling, remember me?"He smirks. "Yea"I nod.

"It's been so long"He laughs.

"Why did you take me and my friends?"I ask. "Because you've been our mission since the beginning sweetie"he says.

"Our?"I ask creeped out.

"Meet the leader of this whole thing"He says and opens the door.

Jai walks in with sly smile.

"Jai! Thank God! Your dad is a freaking pshyco"I say hoping he will convince his dad to let us all go.

"Oh, you thought I was gonna free you? Baby I'm the leader"He says and I feel my eyes widen and my mouth fall open.

"I bet you didn't expect this to happen did you?"He says and I feel tears swell up in my eyes.

"Why are you apart of this? Why do you want me?"I ask.

"Bring her in"Jai motions to his dad.
His dad walks out and comes back in a couple minutes later holding a baby.

I look closer and I feel the whole world stop. There, Sophia lays asleep in his dad's arms.

My beautiful baby girl.

"Surprise"Jai says.

Crazy chapter huh? Sorry it was short. It was kind of a little filler. I'll try to update again this weekend.
