Chapter 49: Date with the Kidnapper

Ariana's P.O.V.

I drive to Brink Avenue just like I was supposed to. I park and step outside.

There's a bench so I decide to take a seat on it and wait. I mess with my hair making sure it's in place.

I wait at least thirty minutes. How is he gonna tell me to meet him at a specific time and than be late?

Guys! I never get them.

I hear a sound and turn to my left to see Chaz.

"Chaz? What are you doing here? You have to go now!"I say getting nervous.

If the kidnapper sees him he may think I set him up and get mad. I can't have any one else kidnapped.

"Did Justin send you here?"I ask him.

"Baby girl, Justin didn't send me. It's me sweetie"He says with a dark voice.

"Oh, you're wearing the mask again"I say. "Yes I am"He nods.

This is gonna be a really weird night.

"Now let me just tell you now. Your not gonna take this mask off of me like last time. I have a guy parked across from your house right now. Take this mask off of me then I will call him. He will go inside your house and kill all the people in there. Including Justin. I'm sure you don't want that do you?"He asks.

"N-No"I stutter starting to get scared.

"Good, Now come on, let's go"He hooks his arm with mine. We walk to his car and he opens the door for me. I get in the passenger seat and he gets in himself.

He starts the car and drives away.
He turns on the radio and Emotions by Mariah Carey comes on.

"You love this song. Come on let me hear it"He says.

"What?"I ask. "Sing for me. Your voice is incredible"He says.

"Do I have to?"I ask. "Yes! It's an order!"He demands.

"You sound like an angel"He smiles and I smile too just to make him happy.

We soon arrive to our destination. I walk out and notice we're at the Eiffel Tower.

What the heck?

"Justin has taken you here. I know you love this place so what better place to do our date than at the Eiffel Tower?"He asks.

I feel like crying right now.

Why would he do this? This was a special place for me and Justin, not him.

Thank God Justin didn't come. He would blow up. We take the elevator up where a table is set for two. Candles and roses are set on the table.

"For you my lady"He says and hands me a Rose. Tears are coming down my face now.

"Don't cry baby girl"He wipes them away. He pulls out a chair and I sit down. He sits across from me.

A waiter comes and reveals spaghetti as our entrée. He's giving me the same dinner as Justin did.

I look up at him and then back down at the food. An accordion plays soft classical music while we eat.

"Let's dance"He says and takes my hand.

I back away from him hurt that he's replaying me and Justin's special night.
