[14] Hold on tight

One week had past and it was finally time for the hero course students (as well as Shinso) to be heading to the airport. Bakugo was more aggressive than usual, not even Kirishima could calm him down. but who could blame him? waking up at 6 in the morning to spend the next 24 hours with a group of loud teenagers constantly trying to talk to you. (i don't actually know how long it would take so imma just pretend they have to be on the plane for 24hours uwu sorry~)

The bus ride to the airport took only about half an hour so everyone got 2 hours of free time before having to board the plane.

"Deku! look!" Uraraka gasped and grabbed his wrist as she ran towards a shop. She dragged him inside and grabbed one of those plane pillows "They have all different hero themes!" She cheered as she picked up a 'Thirteen' themed pillow and hugged it. Iida, Asui and Todoroki soon walked in to locate them.

"Hey look, Midoriya" Asui pointed at the last All Might pillow on the shelf. The geenette gasped and ran over, obviously starting to mumble on how he had never seen one befo- holy crap it was expensive!! 4513.30 yen! ($58.45 Australian dollars)

Midoriya only brought enough money with him for food (the rest was packed in his bag which was already on the plane). He sighed and looked over to his friends who were waiting in line to pay; Uraraka had a Thirteen pillow, Iida had an Ingenium pillow, Asui had a few bags of mochi which she would probably give to Uraraka, Todoroki was...wait where was-

"Midoriya" Midoriya jumped back, stratled

"T-todoroki! you scared me!" He huffed

"sorry. we are about to leave, are you going to get the pillow or something else?"

"well, I wanted the pillow but I don't have enough money" Midoriya shrugged and put the pillow back "its okay though, i'll get some snacks!" He smiled and skipped off to the rack filled with candies.

"We should have some breakfast before boarding" Asui said,

"you're right Tsu!" Urararaka smiled as she skipped out of the shop behind her girlfriend holding her Thirteen pillow "where should we go?" She started looking around

"Bakugo and his friends are there... meaning that spicy food judging by Kaminaris face...Yaomomo and Jirou are over there...better not disturb them"

"what about that bento place?" Iida asks as he emerges from the shop holding his bag with his Ingenium pillow inside

"That place looks good! but packed..." Uraraka mumbled

"lets go get a table. Midoriya and Todoroki can meet us there" Asui suggests

"alright. Todoroki! Midoriya! we will be at the bento place over there, meet us once youve finished paying" Iida informs before the three of them walk over. Midoriya stumbles away from the register once he payed for a couple bags of sugar candies and shoved them into his carry on bag,an All Might backpack, and waits for Todoroki who soon emerges with a bag

"Whatcha got there?" ("...a smoothie" 😂) Midoriya asked tilting his head
"Here" Todoroki says simply as he hands the bag to Midoriya
"Huh?" Midoriya opens the bag and gasps. He takes out the fucking expensive ass All Might plane pillow and looks like he's on the verge of tears
"Are you cry-"
"THANK YOU TODO!" Midoriya exclaims as he launches onto Todoroki giving him a tight hug. Todoroki blushes at both the nickname and how fucking CUTE Midoriya was being

Is this even legal??? It shouldn't be legal for him to be this cUTE

Todoroki things as he gently pushes Midoriya off him and try's to keep his cool by saying
"Todo?" With an amused smirk
"Uwah- sorry! You probably don't like being called that!! Sorry I didn't even ask-"
"You don't have too, I like the nickname"
"Really?! Then I'll call you Todo from now on!" Midoriya smiled wide which made Todoroki mentally clench his heart
"Yeah! L-let's go get food!" Todoroki quickly said as he turned from Midoriya so his blushing face couldn't be seen

"Attention, All passengers taking the New York flight please make your way to gate 7. Boarding will begin in half 15 minutes"

Everyone had checked in an hour beforehand when no one else was there because Mr Aizawa made the fair point that "getting 2 classes on the plain first is a smarter move then getting them on while a bunch of adults were trying to relax".

The two classes were the first on the plane luckily. This plane had double seats so Midoriya was glad he was sitting next to Todoroki and Todoroki only.
"Do you want the window seat, Todo?"
"You can have it"
"A-Alright!"
Shit I let myself stutter! He's going to know I'm scared!! What do I do?????? I'm literally shaking, All Might help me.

Midoriya shakily sat down and buckled in next to the window seat, Todoroki sat next to him and started shifting so it looked like he could be comfortable enough to sleep.

After a little while the plane began to move, everything went in slow motion for Midoriya. His senses Hortense drastically, he could hear every breath anyone took, see everything in a gloomy grey but zoomed in, everything was overwhelming for him. Midoriya hasn't told anyone this but he has a fear of planes. A bad one (shhhh this is my story let me make him scared of planes òwó)

"Midoriya?" His name was loud, it thumped in his ears. His eyes began to prime with tears as he realised that the plane was beginning to fly upwards.

He inhaled sharply and tried to hold his breath, tears streamed down his face as every single terrible scenario that could happen played in his head; the plane could crash, someone could die, there might be a fight, his quirk might activate, he might get the urge to cut, the plane could-

He was snapped out of his panicked thoughts when he felt a warm hand hold his, he looked over at Todoroki, his vision blurred by tears blur he felt a little bit safer looking at the taller male. Todoroki held up his right hand and a cool gust of wind gently tickled Midoriyas face, calming him a little bit.

"T-todoroki?" Midoriya whispered

"calm down, Midoriya. We'll be fine, just breathe" Todoroki whispered back

The fire and ice user slid his arm over the greenettes shoulder and pet his fluffy hair, using his hand to blow small gusts on hold wind surprisingly calming Midoriya down by the time the plane took off.
