VALENTINE.

I finally reached home, letting out a huge sigh of relief. Dropping my keys down on the counter kicking off my Astrix boots, I strolled along the corridor entering the kitchen where Sabrina was seated on the high stool leaning over the counter. On the phone per usual. I opened the fridge being aware not to disturb her conversation, grabbing a carton of orange. Reaching for a glass inside the cabinet, I poured the juice into my cup taking a sip and placing it on the counter.

"Can't you say hello?" Sabrina put her phone behind her back, mugging me before she resumed to her conversation.

"You are talking on the phone" I crossed my legs over the other leaning against the kitchen cabinet.

"Still" she shrugged her shoulders.

"Why you waitin' on me? Can't you say hello first?" I slightly chuckled shaking my head, drinking some of my juice.

"Hol'up Dre; hello Valentine!" Sabrina placed Drey on hold whilst she stood up with her hands on her hips emphasising the syllables in my name sarcastically. "Hello Sabrina!" I flashed my priceless smile showing all sets of teeth.

"Aha you clown! Wassup girl?" She grabbed my juice gulping the whole thing down her throat. "Sorry was quite thirsty" she quietly said covering her mouth to a petit burp.

"Yeah it's fine, um nothing. You?"

"So your telling me you ain't been up to anything today?" Sabrina asked.

"Well, I applied for some job involving secretarial managing and I'm successful to have an interview with the owner, this Tuesday coming. That's all really.." I sighed smiling. "Oh that's good proud of ya'; heard from Jason yet?.." She questioned.

"Sabrina!"

"What? What did I do?" she tried hiding away her cheeky laugh.

"I'on even know the guy! I'on want to know him either!.." I rolled my eyes to the ceiling rinsing my glass cup.

"You won't be saying that when he gon be fucking yo fat ass" Sabrina whacked my ass with the cloth.

"Rina! No! We both know one hundred percent tha' shit ain't gon' happen" I looked back at her over my shoulder drying the glass.

"I really wanna see how this 'Jason' guy looks like..."

"He's not all that.." I mumbled under my breath. That was a total lie because Jason is very handsome.

"What'chu say?" She stood besides me to hear clearly.

"I said...he's not all that" I wiped the surface clean and clear placing the glass where it belongs. "You being forreal?!"

"Yup! He's not my type. Ew no way. If I rated him I would give him a 4 outta 10, to be honest..."

"Oh Lord! What's wrong wit'chu man?! Where all the man at for my baby girl?" She stressed.

"I'on need no man in my life Rina" I shook my head.

"Yass bish ya do! Your a fine ass lady! C'mon man why these ugly guys running you down, huh?"

"Relax Rina, am kidding.." I broke out into hysterics to how serious she got. "So he fine or nah?"

"Huh...he fine" I took thirty seconds before saying the last two words, rolling my eyes away from Sabrina. Who squealed hugging me tight. "Now that is what am talkin' about girl!"

"That don't mean anything Rina" I jeered shaking my head.

"Don't be rude" she smiled happily sitting down grabbing her phone. "Where's Kev?"
