Hermione's Secret is Revealed

Hermione ran up to her dorm room and cried after potions class. She felt panicked she didn't know what to do. She kept looking back at the note Draco sent her. Secrets can break people don't forget of one important one I know of you, Granger. He inserted pictures of things that meant alot to Hermione. Her parents, Harry, Ron and other pictures. She crumpled the note and threw it and it hit the wall. Hermione's mind drifted back to the memory that started all of this in the first place. _________________________________________________

*Flashback* 

Hermione went to the Ministry of Magic for the first time with Arthur Weasley and Ron for a tour. The whole place was amazing, flying papers, large golden statues and many windows stacked 40 feet high. Hermione couldn't help but gap at it's wonder. She followed Ron and his dad to his office and Mr.Weasley had told them to explore but to be back by 3:00. Hermione wondered around his department and eventually made her way to the Department of Mysteries. It was weird and Hermione found a room filled with glass orbs with blue fog inside. 'Crystal balls' Hermione thought. She looked up the rows and when she went to the end she saw one that caught her eye. It was small, about the size of a baseball but it had Harry's name on it. She heard voices and what she saw made her gasp. She trembled with the crystal ball in her hands. "Miss Granger fancy seeing you here all alone." Hermione immediatly put the crystal ball back on the shelf and her eyes turned to see Lucius and Draco Malfoy staring at her with cold eyes. They started walking towards her. "Miss Granger can I ask you why you were looking at these prophecies"? Lucius Malfoy asked her. "I-I was just exploring the ministry and found this room and I tried to t-to figure out what they were". Hermione studdered. "What did you see in Harry's crystal ball"? Lucius asked craving an answer. "Nothing, I didn't see anything". Hermione lied. "Don't lie Granger"! Draco yelled. "Calm Draco, let her try once more. I'll ask you again. I don't like lies Miss Granger"? Lucius Hissed. She shook her head. "Honest I didn't see anything"! Hermione squeaked. Lucius walked her to a wall and took out his wand. "It's a dangerous game you're playing Hermione so you better be careful." His sleeve fell a little on his arm and Hermione could see the jet black mark. The dark mark! Hermione's eyes widened just as she heard Ron's voice. "Is there a problem here"? Ron asked holding up his wand. Draco glared. Hermione released her breath. Lucius saw her eyes wander to his dark mark. Glaring at her he pulled up his sleeve and walked with Draco. "Let's go Draco, it's getting a little two crowded". "See you at school". Draco said and they left. Ron walked up to Hermione. "what happened what were they saying to you"? He demanded, Hermione shook her head and walked fast to get back to Mr.Weasley's office. A very uncomfortable feeling settled in Hermione's stomach as she thought about what just happened. This wasn't going to be the last time they asked. She knew it.

Hermione now sat on her bed in the dorm still shaking from that moment. The look in Lucius' eyes made Hermione get chills. She heard a noise from downstairs and immediatly lowered her sobs. It was quiet when she heard a voice call up. "Hermione? I know you are up there, we need to talk". It was Harry. Hermione went outside and from behind the corner she whispered back to him. "Is Ron with you"? She asked him. He whispered back no and Hermione crept out, seeing Harry standing there she engulfed him in a hug. "Oh Harry"! She sobbed. "I dunno what to do everything is mixed up and confused I'm so scared Harry! So scared!" He rubbed her back trying to calm her down. "It's going to be okay Hermione we can get through this. What was in the letter"? Harry said calmly. She showed him the letter and Harry glared at it. "He won't get away with this Hermione I will be here to help you." They hugged once more and while hugging the door to the dormitory opened revealing Ron. "What the bloody hell is going on here"?! He yelled furious. Harry and Hermione quickly released glancing at each other. "Are you two together"? Ron asked a pang of sadness in his eyes. He looked at Hermione in desperation. She looked a the floor then at Harry and shook her head. "Did he love her? Hermione could not deny she felt a little spark between them and hearing him say that hurt her. She wiped away a tear. "Harry, I think it's time to tell Ron". She said. Harry nodded and Hermione looked at Ron her eyes filling up with tears. Ron noticed and grabbed her hand and led her to a chair by the fireplace. Hermion felt comforted by Ron's grasp on her hand holding on to her comfortably. She felt safe with him. The fireplace hepled her relax as she and Harry told Ron he whole story.
