Harry was quite used to the snickers and stares as he entered the Great Hall that night. He just kept his head down and led Ron and Hermione to the Gryffindor table across from Fred and George.

The night went by pretty smoothly until a lady from the ministry made a speech in the most horid pink Harry had ever seen. Hermione told him and Ron that because she was there, the Ministry of Magic was interfering with Hogwarts.

When they went back to the Gryffindor common room and uneasy feeling settled in the air. People stared at Harry and muttered rumors. "Hey Harry" Dean said uneasily. Harry nodded and continued to the dorm.

"Me mom didn't want me to come back to Hogwarts this year." Seamus Finnigan told Harry. Harry turned to look back at Seamus. "Yeah? And why's that Seamus"? Harry challenged. "With Everything going on and what they Daily Prophet is saying me mom thinks Dumbledore and you are off your rockers!" Seamus said.

"Well then your mom is stupid!" Harry yelled. Ron immediatly grabbed Harry around the shoulders and edged him to go upstairs and while he was heading upstairs Seamus yelled after him. "Don't you dare call my mom stupid Potter!" and with that he was gone.

Needless to say it was a long night.

The next day wasn't any better. Harry felt the stares leaning in on him like a dementor breathing down his back. Ron and Hermine were sticking with him along with the other Weasleys, Neville, and a couple other Gryffindors and a strange girl named Luna Lovegood who Harry met on the carriage ride to Hogwarts the earlier day.

Even Dumbledore was ignoring Harry which he hadn't the slightest clue why.

It wasn't until two weeks after the rumors and muttering went down a slight bit and the focus was on the Gryffidor Quidditch tryouts that would happen exactly two months from that Thursday. Harry and Angelina Johnson would be captains and choosing the finalists, that was the only thing that made Harry remotly excited about.

It wasn't until later that week that things started going shakey again and it was all pointed to Hermione, thanks to Draco.

Potions had always been hard for Harry and his friends mainly because for Proffesor Snape who resented them. "Today class we will be learning somemore about the Polyjuice Potion and it's ingredients and at the end of this week we will be making polyjuice potion as a class assignment, listen closley. Weasley, Potter and Finnigan, as I explain the elements in a perfect Polyjuice Potion."

Snape explained everything and while the class bored themselves to death Draco wrote a message and passed it over to Hermione as a firefly shape. Hermione opened it and her face drained with color at the note. Draco smirked with evil pleasure at the note. Harry glanced over at Ron who noticed the exchange and saw his face turn to one of anger. Harry knew Hermione didn't tell Ron about the secret even though she told Harry, another thing he had to carry on his shoulders.

He tuned back into Proffesors Snape's lecture. "So Polyjuice Potion is used for turning a person into another person of their choice." Snape finished. Harry realized he didn't hear a single thing.

Draco raised his hand. "Could we use the polyjuice potion to change Mudbloods into purebloods so there would be less filth in the wizarding world"? Harry glared at Draco and Ron trembled with anger. Hermione looked at her paper as the Slytherins laughed.

Harry felt bad for his friend, he knew she would have more coming if she didn't tell Draco what he needed to know. Harry knew her secret but asking her about it would come later, she would have to discuss with him what to do later.

Class dismissed and Hermione stormed off to where ever, probably in humiliation and Harry thought about going after her but decided against it. Ron started going after her but Harry stopped him.

"Give her time".

They didn't see her for the rest of the day.
