Cheering her up

Kian POV
I woke up kinda early this morning and decide to make myself some pancakes.  I went downstairs and saw that Sophia was the only one up.
   "Morning Soph." I said, taking the pan out of the cupboard.
    "Morning Ki" she said as she was scrolling through her phone. Soph was the only one who called me Ki. I don't really no why she calls me that, but I don't mind.
    "I was gonna make myself some pancakes, would you like some?" I said as I was mixing the batter
     "Yeah that would be nice, thanks" she said getting up from the couch.
    She sat down at the island. She looked upset about something, but I didn't ask. It was a few minuets later and I was waiting for the pancakes to cook, I turned around and saw that she had tears starting to form in her eyes.
    "Soph are you okay?" I said as I took the pancakes off the pan. I put a few in a plate and got the syrup and handed them to her.
    "Yeah I guess." She said as she cut her pancakes.
     "Soph you know you can tell me. You're like a little sister to me and I don't wanted see you upset." I said as I sat down with my pancakes. We started eating and she told me what was making her upset.
    "Well, see I had a boyfriend." She said
     "And?" I said shoving a bite of pancake in my mouth.
    "He's pissed off because I didn't really tell him that I was coming here, especially because I'm staying with 4 boys. I told him that they are all way older than me and that they are literally like brothers to me, so he doesn't have to worry." She said as a tear rolled down her cheek. "Now he's like yelling at me over text and being really mean." She said as she showed me her texts.
     They were awful. Some of the things he was saying to her, were things that should have never been said to anyone. The fact that he thinks he can disrespect her like that is wrong. I don't know how anyone could even say that her. It's so wrong.
    "Well shit Soph. These are awful. He should never disrespect you like that. You deserve way better, hun.  You need to break up with him, no matter how much you think you like him, he's toxic and he needs to get out of your life. You can't listen to him, okay. Please trust me. You're not a slut or a whore. You're beautiful and smart. You can't let those words hurt you." I said as I wrapped her into a tight hug. 
     By now she was crying. "Kian, thank you so much." She said as she hugged me back. I could see franny watching us from her doorway.
     I lightly kissed the top of Soph's  head, "let's go get some ice cream." I said pulling away from the hug.
     "It's only 10:00 am" she said wiping her tears away.
      "So...." I said. "We can even get your nails done if you want."
      "Omg really, I've been wanting to get them done for so long." She said with excitement in her voice.
      "Yes really. Be ready in like an hour." I said with a smile on my face.
     Franny had moved into the living room, so Soph didn't even realize she was there. Soph went and started getting ready. Franny walked over to me and hugged me.
     "You're so sweet." Franny said as she looked up at me.
      "Yeah I know." I said giving her a kiss.
      "Thank you for doing this for her. She really needs it." Franny said as she kissed me back.
       "She doesn't deserve to be treated that way." I said walking over to the couch.
       "I know, it was awful. He is a disgusting person. She deserves way better."  Franny cuddled up next to me.
      About 10 minutes later I got up and changed my clothes. I put on a white shirt with my jean jacket, some black distressed jeans and some white high top vans. I threw on my Hawaii hat and went downstairs. Franny was still in the same spot on the couch. Sophie still wasn't ready.
    "Babe, do you want to go with us?" I sat down next to her.
    "Yeah, why not. I hope Sophia is fine with it." Fran said getting up.
    "I took a shower last night, so I should only be a few minutes."
    She went into her room and got ready. Sophie walked out and came up to me.
    "Is Franny coming with us?" She said
     "Yeah I hope that's fine," I was unsure if she would be okay.
     "Yeah it's fine, I have to leave on Wednesday, so I guess I should spend some time with her."
     Franny walked out of her room with one of my sweatshirts on and some light ripped jeans. She had white high top converse on too. Even though her hair was up in a messy bun, and she had no makeup on she was still so beautiful.
We went to the nail salon first. I just sat on the couches they had there and waited for them to get done. They both finished around the same time. Soph got her nails in a light purple, almost like a lavender. Franny's were a dark cranberry color. We decided to go get something to eat.
"I CALL SHOTGUN!" Soph said as she sprinted to my car.
"Soph, what? Thats not fair." Franny said pulling on the handle, trying to open the front door that Soph locked.
"She did call shotgun." I walked over to Fran.
"Whatever. I'm not going to talk to you at all for the rest of the day." Franny said turning her back toward me. I turned her around and gave her a kiss. I could feel the smile on her lips.

We got to Olive Garden and was seated. We all ate way too many breadsticks but it was fine. Franny and Sophia looked so happy. They made each other happy.
