Chapter 13
Isabella's P.O.V.
I stared at my computer screen a minute longer, bewildered.
@coolerthanyou: @onedirection concert tonight with my lil cousin Jaz. Backstage pass 2. Am I just the best ever? :)
I read the tweet over in my head multiple times, trying to convince myself that the tweet wasn't real. Unfortunately, it was.
The only confusing thing was that Logan didn't have a cousin named Jaz. There was Caty, Brandon, Stevie, Missy, Drew, Megan, and Tyler but no Jaz.
Then it hit me. Logan only bought concert tickets and backstage passes so he could have his 'revenge' on Zayn. Logan was gonna fight Zayn after the show...
Anger pulsed through my veins and I slammed my laptop shut. Running my fingers through my unwashed hair, I stood up and calmed myself down. Quickly, I grabbed a pair of black jeggings, clean underwear, a laced bra, and a light pink off-the-shoulder shirt and hurried myself into the bathroom, shutting and locking the door behind me.
After the bathroom door shut, I heard the front door shut as well. I wasn't worried, knowing it was just my parents leaving.
I undressed and hopped into the warm water of the shower. I hurriedly washed my hair, body, and face and shaved my legs before turning off the water and wrapping myself in a white, fluffy towel. I finished up all I needed to do in the bathroom and walked out, fully clothed and ready to do my hair and makeup.
I got back into my room and sat down at my vanity that was up against the wall. My blowdryer was already plugged in so I picked it up and turned it on, letting the cool air dry my hair.
It took about a good 30 minutes to dry my hair completely, even though my blowdryer was set on high. I stared at myself in the mirror, then got to my feet and walked to my stereo and turned it on. 'As Long As You Love Me' blasted through the small speakers. I smiled to myself and sat back down at the vanity and unplugged my hairdryer so I could plug in my curling iron instead. As I waited for it to heat up, I started dancing around my room, singing too.
'As long as you love me, we could be starving, we could be homeless, we could be broke. As long as you love me, I'll be your platinum, I'll be your silver, I'll be gold. As long as you llllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllllove me!'
I continued humming as I went back to check on my curling iron. It was burning. I sat down, picked it up and worked on my hair for about 20 minutes. I applied a bit of eyeshadow and then some mascara and admired myself in the mirror in front of me. A grin spread across my face. I checked the time and saw that it was only 1:30 pm. My grin was replaced with a small frown and I got up to turn off the stereo that was playing 'Lights' by Ellie Goulding.
I decided I'd text someone and ask if they wanted to go out for a bit, and that's exactly what I did. I texted my best guy friend, Frankie, and asked him if he wanted to meet at Starbucks. I got a reply a few moments later saying he'd love to and that he would be there in 10 minutes. Considering the fact I wasn't even there yet, I rushed out my bedroom and down the stairs, towards the front door. I slipped on a pair of black Vans and headed out the front door and to my car.
Thankfully, the weather outside wasn't as cool as it has been lately so I didn't really need a jacket.
I got into the front seat of my car and started the engine, then began driving towards Starbucks.
