The future is never set in stone. You may make a choice, but then have the opportunity to undo that decision, making the future change more than once. Some may argue that if you undo that decision, it goes back to the future that would have happened if you wouldn't have made the decision the way you did in the first place. This is not so. You would then have more information about the decision than if you would have just said no to begin with. Variables make all the difference. Knowledge changes actions. Actions change the future.
Like this story about a business man named Bob. Bob owns a large company. He was approached by a smaller company who wanted to do a type of merge. Bob has three options.
1. He can say no.
2. He can tell them he'll look into it and think about it.
3. He can say yes.
Lets say he went with option 2. What if he found out that this small company was very deep in debt and that the smaller company was going to split after the debt was taken care of? That is knowledge. He can then call them up and say no. Now he knows a possible reason why a company would want to merge and will be less likely to make a bigger mistake in the future.
That was just a story, but look at what it is saying. A little bit of information can go a long way. The thing is the way you use the information. Thats why it is important to weigh your options carefully before making a decision. Todays wrong choice could be tomorrows disaster.
Thats all for now.
