Now, let me tell you a story of a lost battle, from the Darkness of it. Our first cat is an ancient Riverclan warrior, who turned on a clanmate and killed him. This cat is named Applescar, a Dark Forest warrior who is very high up in Tigerstar's master plan. He wants to especially kill the noble leader Firestar, who was a small blot in Tigerstar's otherwise perfectly flawless plan. And, as always, Applescar was in love with a beautiful she cat from his time, Flowershade. She died and, however, went to Starclan. Applescar was hopelessly in love with her, but was forever separated. You must be thinking about how foolish Applescar must have been, knowing Flowershade was a sweet cat and would never go to the Dark Forest. I happen to know that Flowershade had gotten a mate, named Oakfoot. Applescar was so upset that he killed Oakfoot. He was exiled from the clan, and starved to death. He sook out refuge in the Dark Forest, and was rewarded by his efforts of evil by being put very high up in Tigerstar's plan. He haunts many Riverclan cats' dreams, luring them to the Dark Forest while dreaming and training them to fight with him and Tigerstar against the clans. Follow me, dear reader, as we look at this cat and his evil ways, his small bits of light inside, and another important cat, Flowershade...
