Amelia kicked her shoes off in her room and walked onto the living room. All the Avengers were gathered in there for Tony's question Bucky had told her about over the phone today.

"Hey guys," she said cheerfully as she sat down next to Bucky, who promptly wrapped an arm around her and pulled her close into his side.

She was met with a chorus of greetings and she smiled. This was where she loved to be, close against Bucky's side and surrounded by so many amazing people.

"So what was that question you had, Tony?" Amelia asked, leaning her head against Bucky's shoulder.

"Well, I know you just got a new job and all--"

"I'm not being your intern," Amelia interrupted with narrowed eyes. Tony threw his hands up in defense.

"Just listen to him, doll," Bucky whispered in her ear. Amelia nodded slightly in reply.

"So, I had a proposition for you," Tony began. "It would require a lot of work, for you and everyone else on this team, but I believe that the choice is a necessary and needed one."

"Ok...?" Amelia asked. "What is it?"

Tony took a deep breath. "Would you...like to be an Avenger?"

"Holy shit," Amelia whispered under her breath. Bucky chuckled softly.

"I--I don't know what to say," Amelia stammered. "Why?"

Tony shrugged. "You've spent so much time here. Also, there's a spark, there's motivation in you that I find incredibly interesting. I know you, and you always get back up."

Amelia swiped a hand across her eyes. "Thanks, Tony," she said. "That means a lot."

"Well, you think on it," Tony smiled. "It's a big decision. You can just talk to me on the morning, okay?"

Amelia nodded. She stared ahead at the blank television screen in shock. She felt so honored that Tony had even considered her for this amazing chance. She didn't know why, though. A part of her doubted she could ever train enough or practice enough to actually become an Avenger--

"Don't overthink," Bucky whispered in her ear as the others slowly left the room. Amelia turned to look at him. His blue eyes were soft with concern and a small smile graced his lips. Amelia smiled and leaned forwards to kiss him. His hands landed lightly on her waist, pulling her closer to him. Amelia pulled away and looked into his eyes.

"Do you think I'll be able to do it?" Amelia murmured. Bucky nodded and wrapped her in a hug.

"Don't doubt yourself, doll," he said gently. "You have all of us. I know it seems scary, but you'll have to push yourself."

Amelia sighed. "Yeah, I know, I know." She wrapped her arms around Bucky and rested her head on his chest. "Can we watch something?" she asked quietly. Bucky nodded and reached for the remote. He turned the T.V. on and opened his mouth to speak.

"Press the menu button and then Netflix," Amelia said without lifting her head. Bucky grinned and followed her instructions.

"What do you want to watch, sweetheart?"

Amelia sat up and looked at the screen. "Once Upon A Time?" she asked. Bucky frowned slightly but clicked on it anyways. It wasn't his favorite show; he found the Hatter character slightly...unsettling. Nevertheless, Amelia loved it, and he would do anything for her.

In the middle of the episode, Amelia turned to face Bucky again.

"I've made my decision," she whispered. Bucky only nodded and paused the show.

"I want to be an Avenger."
