"Oh my god, oh my god!" Amelia whispered for the fourth time in a minute. Bucky was in the hospital, one she was being taken to in a limo, courtesy of Steve.

She thought back to Steve's question. Did he tell you anything about his job? What was his job? Amelia hadn't asked many questions about him or his life. All she knew was that he went on a dangerous mission and was now injured.

"We got a few more minutes," the driver said, as he looked at her through the rear view mirror. Amelia offered a pained smile and went back to her thoughts.

Steve had freaked out at the word captain. Were they in the Army or something? "Oh my god!" Amelia saw the Avengers Tower come into view. She had always wanted to see it. The driver stopped and opened his door before walking over to her door.

"Why are we...here?" Amelia asked, confused. "Oh shit," she exclaimed as the pieces fell into place.

"I'll take you up," the driver offered. "The name's Happy, by the way."

   "Oh, thanks. I don't know where I'm going...holy shit!"

   "Did you not know?"

    "No, I did not know!"

Happy only shrugged and began walking towards the doors. He swiped a card and the door swung open onto a small gray room with a shiny silver elevator. He walked in and Amelia followed behind. Happy pressed the up button and the two waited in a slightly uncomfortable silence for the elevator.

The doors slid smoothly open and Amelia walked in and reached towards the buttons, fingers hovering over the many choices. "Which one?" she asked.

"Twenty-five," Happy replied before leaning against the opposite wall. "You really didn't know?"

"Obviously not! I am shook, ok? I was not expecting--" Amelia gestured wildly. "This!"

"Shook?" Happy asked with a bemused expression.

"Listen, Happy, you would be too if you found out that the guy you've been talking to for the past few days is in Avengers fucking Tower!"

"Fiesty," he replied as the doors slid open again. "Welcome to the hospital wing."

Amelia rushed out of the elevator and was intercepted by a man wearing a purple shirt and with messy hair.

   "Are you Amelia?" he asked.

"Yeah," she said absentmindedly. "Is Bucky ok?"

"You really didn't know, did you?" the man questioned with a tinge of sadness.

"Know what?" Amelia was growing more and more frustrated. She wanted answers and people weren't giving her any.

"The mission he took on was incredibly dangerous. He was lucky to have even made it out alive."

"He promised he would be ok! I should've known!" Amelia ran a hand through her hair. "Can I see him now?"

"He's right in there," the man responded as he stepped aside. "Go on in."

Amelia walked into the room. Her eyes quickly observed a blond man sitting in a chair besides the bed, blocking her view of the man lying in the bed. "Knock knock," she said and immediately cringed. Who the hell says that when walking in a hospital room?
